The best coffee shop ever! I spent 3 months in Ilfracombe this summer, and No 28 The Cookery was like my second home ❤ the coffee is even better than excellent, and the cakes to die for!! Lots of vegan/vegetarian options as well. The staff was amazing, I miss them already! I wish them all the best and lots of success for the reopening 🌟 Bonjour de France!!! 👋🥐

I lOVE this coffee shop! They have the best vegan snack options (bring back the cherry cake!) and I promise their coffee is something to shout about - it's incredible! So smooth and delicious, and expertly crafted together. I've been so many times I don't even have to ask what I'd like when I go in the shop! Super friendly, welcoming and a warm atmosphere. Amazing intimate cafe! We had a mini feast here and it was absolutely gorgeous the best cream tea I have tasted so far and also the chai latte was the absolute winner here for me. Lovely chatty owners and amazing treats! If your looking for a brunch / snack spot this place is for you! Will definitely be coming back!

Found this little coffee shop around Ilfracombe whilst looking for somewhere to eat lunch and thank god we did! My partner said it was the best chai latte she’s had in forever and my white hot chocolate was to die for! The food we had came out piping hot and the portions were great, we had 2 sausage rolls, a bacon sandwich and a scone and we walked out full! The staff are very friendly and accommodating too which was a bonus! The only downside (if you can call it that) is that it is very small and there isn’t many tables so you may have to wait to dine in but totally worth it.

Lovely café with a very good range of vegan and gluten free choices. Gluten free brownie is superior to any wheat based version I have had in the past and the honeycomb is crisp. Good tea in real pots with babychinos available for little ones. Vegan hot chocolate has several flavours . Limited seating inside but takeaway is available. Very Friendly and helpful people who run this establishment. Makes a refreshing change from the usual fair in Ilfracombe. Very clean and covid safe.
