Great coffee, cakes to die for! And it’s all vegan! Almost feels weird having too much choice on the menu. Friendly staff. Nice cozy little nooks to sit in too.

Amazing vegan cafe based in Colchester town centre.
Sophie allowed us to hold part of our event at the cafe when we were struggling to find suitable premises.
Both Sophie and her team were so accommodating, nothing was too much hassle.
The buffet they put together for us was delicious and everybody loved it, in particular the pizzas and sausage rolls.
Can't thank Cafe Sala enough for all their help to make the day run so seamlessly.

Sophie made a cake for our dairy free guests at our wedding and it looked and tasted amazing. Due to guest numbers changing we had to book quite last minute and Sophie was super accommodating. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience in the cafe, with delicious food and excellent coffee. The coconut brownie and the Mediterranean Vegetable tart come highly recommended. Following that, I had an Iced Americano, which was likewise amazing!

Staff really friendly and make you feel welcome.
Nice selection of cakes with vegan options too, and the coffee tasted great.
I didn't try any hot food they had a surprisingly large menu for what looked to be a small kitchen.

The food and drinks selection has quite a variety to pick from. I've eaten here a lot now, so have been able to try most things. Most of it is fantastic, albeit expensive(ish). The staff are pretty friendly and welcoming, and the place can be quite cosy.
I'd recommend planning your visit as it can get rather busy, especially on weekends; we love to see vegan places do well!

Quick coffee stop at Caffe Sala, had me try the Honeycomb latte and the Sticky Toffee Biscoff slice. It was truly delicious and hit all the right spots. The beans they use alin the coffee are sublime!

Second visit there, first since the pandemic and expected delicious vegan options like we've had before. Turns out it's now completely vegan. Nice to see it busy, great chat with the owner and it seems delicious food and drink is the priority over a huge range of food. We all (4) enjoyed our meals and drinks. Highly recommended for anyone

Always busy in here! Very Friendly Staff and pleasant selection of breakfast items, Lunches and cakes.
I like to check out the Gluten -free options and there was four cakes on offer so I went for one of them.
