Stunning food, a real surprise when I first found it. Lovely authentic service, delivered with passion and a deep knowledge of the origins of the dishes. Great selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks, again authentic from Italy, traditional sodas etc. Ingatestone is very lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre on the high street; it's such a joy to visit every time. It's worth calling ahead, and you certainly have to book in the evenings. Given their popularity you may be disappointed if you don't call ahead to secure a table. Highly recommended; this is what great Italian food is all about 😁

What an incredible journey with Alessio and Laura! From their humble beginnings in Chelmsford Market to their charming restaurant in Ingatestone, they've created something truly special. The decor is simple yet classy, and the pasta remains as fresh and beautiful as ever. But here's the exciting part: they've added delicious pizzas to the menu! We tried one, and it was light, crispy, and bursting with flavour. The hospitality is just as vibrant and enthusiastic as we remember. Lunchtime is relaxed, with lovely Italian music playing. The menu offers fresh, homemade pasta, pizza, and daily specials. Make sure you Shazam their list of great songs! For an unforgettable experience, book ahead for dinner. We had the Diavolo pizza with extra chilli—it was perfection. We also tried the Pipe N'Duja E Burrata, a creamy and spicy pasta dish that left us in awe. Everything is made fresh. If you love authentic Italian food or have a genuine interest in the culinary world, this is the place to be. We can't wait to go back for dinner!

Great authentic Italian service. Amazing ingredients and wonderful choice of dishes both main menu and specials. After one visit, returned the same week. Would be happy ,and feel safe, to recommend too or take anyone to the restaurant. Wine menu is also great Italian wines. Book early. Save room for the pistachio semi fredo.
