Best place to eat in Inverness by far!
We spent a week exploring the beautiful city of Inverness and were so pleased to have discovered this gorgeous cosy bistro!
Richard is a kind and friendly owner who really takes an interest in his customers. The rest of the staff are charming and hospitable.
The food is on a league of its own and the portion sizes are very generous! We definitely recommend the haggis bon bons and goats cheese tartlet! Absolutely delicious!
We can't wait to come back! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Absolutely amazing dinner here! Our group of 4 made a reservation earlier in the week for a weekend and had a lovely time. Our server was accommodating, kind, friendly, and attentive. All 4 of our meals (apps and desserts incl) were all fantastic. Highly recommend having a meal here!

Excellent meal! We’re on a foodie tour through Scotland and we’re happy to include Fig & Thistle on our stop. How could we not?
Duck liver pate and the fig salad in particular were exceptional!
Plus the generous portions and service from Ian made the whole experience more than lovely.
Make your too book ahead or, like us, take a chance for a late walk-in.

Didn't get a table inside the bistro, so had to sit in the outdoor area. But it was good, with music from the nearby Italian restaurant. Food was great, so was the service. Our man was Ricky, who was really attentive and quick. Highly recommended if you are in Inverness.

Absolutely beautiful, my review is a bit late, sorry, the food was outstanding. I had the goats cheese soufflé ti start which was phenomenal. The rich chocolate dessert was also divine. Service was 5 star a lovely young man looked after out table and couldn't have been more attentive. Will definitely be back, thank you.

Absolutely loved our meal at Fig & Thistle. The Malaysian curry salmon had so much flavour and the mushroom linguine was so delicious. The desserts were perfect. The service was also outstanding!

Absolute gem of a restaurant in Inverness. I’ve been here twice. The food is so flavourful, well plated and delicious. Definitely make a reservation. They are booked solid and I can understand why. I had the starter of king prawns. Delicious. Then I had the goat cheese tart (gluten free option) followed by the Lemon White Chocolate Panne Cotta. It was sublime. If I am ever in Inverness again I will definitely plan to eat there again.

What a find! Lovely little restaurant. We sat upstairs and there was a lovely cosy atmosphere. The Venison Haggis Burger was delicious and you should try if you want a bit of scottish flavour! House fine wine town well and we shared a divine dessert. Yum

Very cute spot. Friendly service, and delicious food. Portions were quite large. The salmon with curry was delicious. The mushroom linguine was great too, though the chicken in it was under seasoned. Overall would recommend!
