Amazing food, we had the pumpkin soup, mussels, steak pie, and the sirloin steak. All were excellent and would order again in a heartbeat. Service was excellent, staff were very friendly and attentive. Great selection of various drinks as well. An affordable, excellent 10/10!

We (6 0f us) ended up in this bar/bistro in Inverness because foolishly on a Saturday night we hadn’t booked ahead and we were lucky to get in here. So glad we did!! We had a really great evening with most delicious food, very pleasant and attentive staff and great atmosphere. Whenever I see mussels on the menu then I make a beeline for them and I can honestly say, these were the best i have ever had. Plump, tender and delicious, filling the whole shell. My wife had the steak pie which she also thought was fab. apparently, the fish and chips was equally nice. Altogether, highly recommended!

Came here for dinner and it was amazing! Really great front of house and service staff that were kind and accommodating. Had the pan seared salmon - was cooked perfectly. Would definitely come back!

Great restaurant. Went here twice and loved the food. Steak and ale pie was on point as well as the chicken stuffed haggis and salmon. Cullen skink was a great starter on a cool night. Highly recommend.

Try the Highland Chicken. Perhaps the best dish I've ever tasted. The whole meal was cooked to perfection and I would have paid double for the food. I am not usually a fan of desserts but I was so happy with the first two courses that I wanted more, and the fig cheesecake did not disappoint. Service was excellent, attentive but not overly so. It was reflective of the whole evening and I would give more stars out of five if possible.

We didn't know of this place and entered by accident when passing by hungry, and it was really worth it! Food was great (we had salmon and lamb) and so was the service. If we ever come back to Inverness we'll definitely eat here, and can recommend this place to all.

Fish n Chips were delicious and fairly priced for value. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good but they needed more staff and more attention to the door. People were stepping in (including ones with reservations) and not even being acknowledged by staff for a good 10minutes+ a simple nod, or we’ll be right with you is more welcoming than making eye contact and then turning the other way. I had to raise my hand and say excuse me when a waitress came to clean a table BESIDE me and still ignored me and finally I was attended to. After that it was all good. I saw others go through the same as I was eating. If there are no tables available out out a sign up for walk-ins Please hire a host on busy weekends to tend the door and handle the table coordination.

The staff was outstanding - all of them. They seemed to genuinely seemed to care that everyone was taken care of. We had the fish and chips and the pan fried salmon. Both were delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was excellent. We would highly recommend just for the service and the food matched it.

We were able to get a table in the late afternoon prior to the dinner rush otherwise reservations would have been a must. The food is simply spectacular. The Chicken stuffed w/haggis and wrapped with Parma ham should be at the top of your “try it you’ll luv it” list. Do not shy away from the haggis. Service is all smiles from everyone. First place that we have encountered a Scottish cider and we give it a thumbs up. The honey whisky sauce goes with everything.
