We booked a two night deal with meal allowance so we could use two body massage gift vouchers and have afternoon tea. Everything about our stay was brilliant and faultless. Great welcome from Pam and the spa staff were great. The restaurant staff were so attentive and worked so hard to keep the busy restaurant flowing. The room was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was a wholly wonderful experience as always. We got married at the hotel in 2012 and love coming back. Thank you so much for such a fabulous time.

Lovely stay, comfortable and clean room. Tasty breakfast. But it was the staff that made this hotel stand out. So helpful and friendly every single member we came across. Also, Leigh Anne at the spa was wonderful. Highly recommended. Thank you.

The best thing about the Kingsmills Hotel, by far, was the excellent friendly staff, so accommodating and gave our dog lots of fuss, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate and clean, tastefully decorated. Perhaps could have had nicer tea/coffees in the room given how upmarket the place is. Equally given the accommodating nature, dogs were not allowed in the main restaurant, but perhaps could have been a cubby hole out of the way. That said, they were happy to set up a table in the waiting area so we could have breakfast with our dog.

Booked for a few days away celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in one if the garden rooms which was extremely comfortable and welcoming. All staff from reception, restaurant and housekeeping were friendly and helpful.
Enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again some time in the future.

The hotel exceeded our expectations on every way. Very comfortable room and a good bar/ lounge/ restaurant area. The staff were all very pleasant and customer-oriented.

Stayed here in May of 2023. The hotel was a pleasant walk from the city centre and was in a quiet setting despite being so close to the heart of the city. Staff were very friendly, the garden suite room we stayed in was very clean and well-appointed, and the property as a whole was very good value for money. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to Inverness.

Beautiful, peaceful and clean hotel. They had everything we needed. Wait staff, cleaning crew and some of the receptionist were absolutely lovely!! One receptionist had a little attitude with my 73 year old mother, but the rest were very welcoming. Concierge and hostess were helpful, but unwelcoming to us common folk. They were more welcoming and accommodating to the country club type and golfers. I understand their priorities are special events which include special guests. However, if the common person is spending their money to be there I expect the same treatment. Pam at the spa was the most helpful of all. She worked so very hard with me trying to organize treatments via email from the US. However, several days and emails of trying to accommodate to our schedule the masseuse was injured and could not provide the services most needed. She tried her best to get through my pedicure and didn’t charge for either massage which I sincerely appreciate. Another or backup masseuse would have been fantastic, arrangements at another spa close by or even someone staying after hours to pick up the slack would have been most appreciated. All around five stars though. I do recommend especially if you’re a golfer and for weddings.

Beautiful hotel. Great service, friendly staff. Very clean. Large bedrooms with modern bathrooms. Small swimming pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Small gym

Nice hotel that was a 20-minute walk to the heart of Inverness. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were in the newer building across the parking lot from the original hotel, so I can't speak to room quality in the main building. That said, our rooms were decent sized, had awesome showers, and were quiet and comfortable.
We ate at both the restaurant and the bar and both were tasty. We didn't get to use the leisure area, but the pool looked a bit small (tho clean).

Afternoon tea with cocktails. Lovely scones cakes and sandwiches. Good service and pleasant surroundings. Only downside was it was a little cold in the room

Lovely afternoon tea had here at the Kingsmills hotel, I booked it last minute 10pm, went the next afternoon , I had requested quite a few things (food), wow everything was what I requested for and more they done amazing. Thank you!
Highly recommend the afternoon tea. Really enjoy ourselves, service was great all staff welcoming and friendly.
The ladies bathrooms are beautiful too.

I stayed in the new building. Room was great, with a nice view of the golf course. Service was excellent. Pretty good breakfast. We had dinner in the old building which had a nice restaurant and bar. Good food, decent service. Location is very good, within a reasonable walk to the downtown area.

Lovely afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches and sweets. Perhaps slightly more if the savouries would have been nice. The staff were very accommodating for dietary requests. Would recommend.

Shower wasn't great. But service was brilliant. Bed was comfy. But if you have a phobia of moths be careful as the carpets are covered in them.

We were here for just 2 nights. Our room was above the conference center and they were to have live music until midnight. We heard them warming up and knew it would be too loud for us to sleep. However, Hannah, the assistant desk manager, switched us to a wonderful room and we were quite pleased with how quickly she did this.
This hotel is not near the center of town. We had to use a taxi each time we went into town, you could walk, it takes about 15-20 minutes, but not an easy walk. Also, not one you want to do when it rains, which is quiet frequent in Scotland!

The hotel was beautiful and they helped up celebrate a friend's birthday while we were there. Our party of 12 enjoyed cocktail hour prior to our three course dinner and birthday cake. We loved the hotel. Every day, there was space available for our party of 12 to sit together so we could share with the group how the guys golfed and where the gals adventured over cocktails.

I attended the Royal Ascot Day at the Kingsmills Hotel yesterday and have to say it was brilliant. The meal was delicious and the service spot on (not easy when catering for such a large function). The staff were all lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Definitely the areas no1 venue for functions! Thanks for a great day

Loved it so much we've already booked to come again! Amazing space in the family room for our 5 & 1 year old. Staff, service & food were faultless & courteous without being OTT. Pool was ideal size for our needs. There was a function on Sat night so I'd recommend asking & booking an evening table in advance which we'd done. Party got going after the kids were asleep so it didn't bother us - worth asking if you're a light sleeper though!

Just returned from a two night stay. The hotel is beautiful, wonderfully decorated, we stayed in a classic room and it felt extremely luxurious! The weather was very good for February and we had a lovely walk round the garden. The food was fantastic, loved my steak, loved my full Scottish breakfast. The staff were all down to earth and really friendly. Great base for exploring the area, keep doing what your doing Kingsmill it works. Looking forward to a return stay in the future!

What an amazing hotel!! My partner and I recently got engaged at Christmas and yesterday we undertook an engagement photoshoot at the Kingsmills and attended the Hogmanay Gala Dinner. What a fantastic day and night. The hospitality shown was second to none. All the staff were so polite and courteous. We had so many lovely comments and congrats, we were truly overwhelmed. The event was amazing and so well organised, the food was first class and the band Torridon were amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better new year. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be making an enquiry about our wedding reception xx

What can I say fantastic hotel, staff very friendly and great crack, room very nice, would have been 5* but felt disappointed no greek yoghurt at breakfast and mushrooms seemed to be deep fried and steamed/poached.
But that is a personal opinion and I got over it by day 2 LOL
Brenda J Kellie
We married there 8 yr ago, and we celebrated our anniversary by going out for a meal, excellent food, great service, and lovely friendly staff, would definitely recommended to others, and would certainly take family there when coming to visit us

My baby boy had his very first swim here today. Staff were very helpful when we phoned to ask the heat of the pool and they also let us use the baby float as i forgot ours. We went for the 2 course Swim lunch great value and food was amazing. The staff at the restaurant and pool were brilliant with my baby the service was brilliant and they made sure we had everything we required. We will definitely be back again my baby loved the pool and he even fell asleep in the water.

Really nice hotel, first room offered was above banqueting hall with a big event planned for that night. Raised this with staff who moved us to another room without any hassle at all. Staff exceptionally helpful and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

We were here last night for my Granma’s birthday dinner. There was a 11 of us on total. We all enjoyed our meals 😊The staff were all friendly especially Jackie the supervisor. My mum and Granma stayed the night and their room was so roomy. I was jealous to be going home. We will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends.

We recently came for a swim lunch for my daughter's birthday and had a fabulous time. The pool is so warm and the sun was streaming in through the wibdows. The food was excellent and the staff so nice even to three 12 year old girls. The only downside was that I noticed at age 13 children pay the adult rate for the swim lunch. However, I know my girls would not choose anything from the main lunch menu and would still prefer the fantastic children's menu. Maybe 15 would be a better age for changing to adult rates.

This place is simply fantastic. I will start with the room. We booked a family weekend away and this was our second visit. Our first was amazing and we decided to take the kids. Now when your first experience to a place is amazing I always worry that the second will leave me feeling disappointed!! Fortunately I am pleased to say I was wrong. Expectations exceeded and I look forward to another visit.
The room (Luxury Family) was beautiful and spacious with kids bunk beds around the corner in a separate space with their own TV. The bed was very comfortable and the blinds have given us an idea for our own home.
What is best about this place is the staff. They really make the visit. From the concierge who fist pumped the kids each time they passed ( oh and I did it to not to feel left out ) to the bar staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Nearly every member of staff greet you with a smile or good morning.
Saturday night was crazy busy when we had ordered our food in the bar. There were a couple of functions on and everyone arriving while we had our starters. I was dreading having to eat our mains with loads of folk standing around but I needn’t have worried. Staff quickly managed the flow of people to their functions and didn’t call our mains until there was some sense of normality resumed. It’s these little touch’s that make you appreciate that you the customer is first.
We shall be back with an larger party this year as we will be bringing up the in laws to celebrate a birthday.
Many congratulations to all the staff for making our second stay memorable for us.
Oh and the boys say it’s good so they will come back aswell !!

Excellent staff , massive bed and lovely swimming pool.
In the morning when I found that i’d Left the car lights on, they were able to jumpstart me.
Again excellent staff throughout.
Pamela Shaw
Rude, judgemental staff. Sat for half an hour with menus no one approached us however served another table who arrived after us. They received drinks and food before anyone had even spoken to us. We left without ordering anything. Shocking service will not be back.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Kingsmills hotel last weekend ( can’t believe it was a week ago already) for his works Christmas do when we came down from Shetland. Our room was so lovely with beautiful views and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you

I have been wanting to visit this hotel for so long & when I finally had the chance to book I didn’t hesitate! I had booked a 4 night stay for my husband & 2 children in Inverness. 2 at the kingsmill hotel & 2 at another hotel. What can I say... we absolutely loved every minute from start to end! We ate in the Inglis restaurant & couldn’t at all fault any of the food or service, they did spell our name wrong so sent us away to begin with saying we didn’t have a reservation! Bit embarrassing in front of a room full of people. But that was corrected by the staff in the conservatory So no harm there I guess! We also ate breakfast, I ordered poached eggs on both mornings as the eggs were so fresh & tasted amazing! Our room was perfect , I e.mailed the hotel to try & upgrade my family room but on this occasion it wasn’t possible. Good job really as the room was perfect!! The children were really happy with there room & bunkbeds. The swimming pool was perfect for the family, we only managed to get one swim in! But hopefully on our next visit we will stay for longer. So overall we would definitely return. Thankyou for such a lovely stay.

First time staying at the Kingsmills hotel for my mum's special 60th birthday which was organised as a surprise , the hotel staff were fantastic and their attention to detail was first class. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the hotel and stayed in the beautiful luxury king rooms. Will definitely be back!

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Kingsmill Hotel with my Husband, who treated me for my Birthday. The whole experience was just amazing. The Staff, from the Receptionists to the restaurant Staff and Bar Staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. The room, which my Husband had upgraded to a Luxury Room was beautiful. The whole experience was so memorable and very relaxing. Of course, not to forget the food, which was just exquisite.
Thank you Kingsmill for a wonderful birthday and will definitely be back x

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The staff are friendly and the service we received was excellent!
The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and chilled out bar area. The food was stunning, especially our evening meal.
Great wee part of the world and we will hopefully be back in the not so distant future.
Chris Green
Very clean, comfortable and above all exceptional service by the staff.
Will be gong there again at some point.

My surprise baby shower was held here on Sunday & it was an amazing day! The venue, staff & service were fab! And this morning another lovely surprise... I received a voucher for a half hour spa treatment from the hotel as a treat for having the baby shower with them! Wonderful customer service! I will definitely consider booking the Christening Reception & other big events here again!

Love this place and the staff are so so friendly

We had a great stay as part of the Itison Deal. Beautiful superior room, great spa and the restaurant offers an amazing choice of quality meals. The complimentary free whiskey on arrival was a lovely surprise and added a little something different to the usual hotel check-in. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of dishes made to order as well as a great buffet. And the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We'd love to pay this hotel another visit in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay

Thankyou so much to all at the Kingsmills for such a wonderful stay. I was treated to a night away at your gorgeous hotel by my friend for my birthday & we had the best time! Lovely upgrade to the Kings Club, gorgeous spa & treatments, fab bubbly afternoon tea, very attentive staff (nothing was too much bother) & fantastic atmosphere throughout the hotel. We also discovered you do the most delicious Champagne Bellini we sampled lots of these. Wonderful time from start to finish! Thanks again & will most definitely look forward to staying again.
