This restaurant is a hidden gem! My sister and I believed we had a reservation at another Turkish restaurant in town (which due to poor communication on the restaurants part, we did not) so disappointed with Turkish food on our minds and no idea where we could get some from, i remembered a friend of mine had mentioned Ararat awhile ago, telling me the food was amazing, and my friend was not wrong! The food was incredible, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, i could not recommend this restaurant enough, curing our need for Turkish cuisine on short notice, blowing us away with the quality of the food and despite being on a busy road the restaurant felt tucked away and our dining experience felt relaxed and personal, we will be going again!!

Ararat is one of our favourite places to eat in Ipswich. Parking is round the corner; it’s accessible for all, it’s clean and tidy and most of all… THE SERVICE AND FOOD IS AMAZING 🤩
Tonight, we got the humous as an starter and the amazing bread, mains was a veg kebab and I had an chicken kofte with a GORGEOUSSSSS slice of fresh Baklava to finish…
As always, the food is so good, the service is amazing. I love this place, literally the best Turkish in town - I can’t sing their praises enough 🤩🤩🤩

Some starters plus a 4 person meat platter.
Lots of unexpected extras ( the flat bread and dips are particularly tasty)

Food was delicious .we came as a party of 4 adults, one of whom was in a wheelchair, and we were all catered for.Unfortunately ,there is no provision for alcohol anymore but the usual choice on soft drinks and hot bevarages.Myself and my partner opted for a sharing platter which didn't disappoint!

A great night out with friends , the restaurant was jam packed with diners . They weee fantastic host , as expected kept our booked table ready and waiting for us .
The Turkish food was a delight from appetisers to mains , all delicious.
The prices per head was also very reasonable at £22.00 - £28.00 including drinks .
There are two floors and the upper floor has the lounge bar with additional seatings so very nice .
The service was great and the food arrived surprisingly very quick , given the fact how busy the restaurant was ! Well done guys 🙌👍
