Lovely little place with several rooms you can sit in with a 2nd bar that i guess is used on busy nights. Has a covered outside area as well on the street.
Also has free WiFi and I had a good connection so no complaints there. Music was a nice level so i could make calls easy.
Pity they don't do food other than bar snacks and sausage rolls but not every where can I know.
Been popping in here recently on a Saturday for a couple of drinks, good choice of wine and beer and a lovely sausage roll to snack on too.
Staff very nice and polite - would recommend.
Fantastic venue. Nestled away just off the main shopping area this pub has an excellent selection of beers. There are many keg offerings, a couple of cask beers and fridges full of wonderful Belgian bottles (each with their own matching glass, so done properly).
Ample outside seating and plenty of room inside too. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. There is a food offer but as we didn’t order any we can’t really comment.
Would highly recommend a visit, we didn’t want to leave and would have happily stayed for the entire day.
Absolutely lovely bar! Non-alcoholic gins are really refreshing. Great staff and so many different drinks to choose from.
A really nice place to go, neatly tucked away within the town centre. Good selection of beers
Top quality pub with fantastic and continually changing cutting edge craft beers, not to mention a massive selection of gins and rums. No visit to Ipswich is complete without a visit to the Arcade Tavern. Great events too!
Fantastic choice of beer! Tucked away on a side street in Ipswich! When in town always have to visit.
Fantastic bar. Great choice of beers and spirits and I always find the staff incredibly friendly. Puts on a lot of fun beer nights too. Can't fault the place at all.
Not the cheapest admittedly, but if you love exceptionally good Belgian beers like the ones you’ll find here you wouldn’t expect cheap. It gets very busy at peak times but the atmosphere is always cheerful.
A busy environment, so they're clearly getting something right. Venue broadly clean, although toilets were in quite a state. However, plenty of staff, they were efficient and there's a wide range of drinks. It's the first time in a long while though I've seen a venue listed on Untappd selling beer at £12 a pint which isn't available in thirds. However, they probably don't need to given how busy they are, and the craft beer selection was well curated for what doesn't appear to be a beer led pub. Venue opening hours are also unclear, but the ones on Untappd appear wrong.
