We had the great fortune to sit near a couple from the area prior to taking a trip to MA and while this was already on my list of potential breakfast spots, the couple assured us this was the place to go. They weren't wrong! The owners welcomed us warmly, made great conversation, and truly have created such a friendly environment - no one could possibly be a stranger here! The food though - if you try nothing else - try their Irish Benedict. I have never tasted corned beef half as good, I don't know what their secret it, but they're doing it right!

The moment I walked in I felt welcomed and at home. I’m from the south and I can say they make me feel just as welcome if not more than a cafe in Texas. Food was amazing as well as the service. Coffee was perfect too. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. You’d be missing out on Ipswich if you don’t.

Just had breakfast here AGAIN. Love love love this place. Food was perrrfect and Fast. Staff was phenomenal. Atmosphere wonderful. I just read one person's one star review of this restaurant. I have to say they came during the middle of the pandemic and complained because they got plastic utensils and paper cups. Everybody was doing that because they wanted to keep you safe from covid. They pointed out that they were understaffed, duh, everybody was understaffed because nobody would work because of covid. There's a reason why most reviews of this restaurant or five-star and only one knucklehead gives it one star. That guy is just mean and not considering the difficulties in serving the public during a pandemic. I recommend he goes back there now when they have more staff and less restrictions, and he will see the true nature of this beautiful spot to eat and enjoy yourself in downtown Ipswich.

My favorite place to be, especially during the pandemic! Plenty of outdoor seating despite the limited real estate, and a decent amount of vegan options on their menu. My favorite: get the frozen tofu with oreos! I swear it tastes like a McFlurry. Live music on Saturdays seals the deal for me-- Heart and Soul is the best!
