Harvester

It was very busy as it was half term. I’d booked via the website for 1.30pm but arrived 15 mins early but this wasn’t a problem and we were shown straight to the table. It took a while to order food and then to get our food but not surprising and not an excessive amount of time with how busy it was. Our food was good. Getting the bill was easy enough but I then got informed I needed the app for the £1 child offer. On the whole a good visit.

Great service, loved the salad bar and the excellent selection of food in there. The staff are friendly, funny and even recommend different cocktails off the menu. Even though it was super busy the restaurant was clean, tidy and everyone still seemed happy and upbeat One of the best Harvesters I have been to. I have rated the food poor as their vegan menu leaves a lot to be desired and their Mediterranean mixed vegetable starter was horrid; a bowl full of frozen mixed vegetables in water. My partner had full rack of ribs and loved them.

Very pleasant experience…. Our waitress Karen was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. You could see she was working hard to keep her tables happy, she was rushed off her feet and seem to be doing the work of at least 3 people. The food was good and reasonably priced. The only downside was that we waited quite a while to be seated and it also took some time for the children’s deserts to be ordered. But it was busy, so understandable.

Update 10/02/23 Had a Groupon so why not. 3 courses and I'm full and happy. Starters were good, Cheesy Garlic bread. Sorry burger, tasty. Desserts were both great. ####### Never going to be gourmet food here but it's good pub grub with very nice staff. Proper Nachos which is a massive plus and the dessert was very tasty. All in all good value for money.

Discovered this hip, cozy restaurant last Saturday morning as we're trying to find healthier eating places for my other half. Harvester's Unlimited Build Your Own Breakfast is highly recommended. The food is tasty, hot, and not greasy at all. The price is very affordable too! Needless to say we're definitely coming back again

Stopped here midday for a meal for five adults. We were seated quickly and staff were very attentive and pleasant. The salad bar was well stocked and clean and easy to use. We were attended to quickly for starters and main courses and the food arrived and it was well presented and tasty. One of our party had slightly cold veg, however they didn't want to raise the issue. Overall the restaurant is well placed close to the motorway and although near a roundabout there is no traffic noise. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the toilets were well maintained and the first time I have seen individual toilets for men and women. There is facilities for warming milk and food for young children, a microwave for free use. The staff were very attentive and quick to serve and clean up after our party. I would recommend here for a meal, it was very pleasant and good value for money.
