Had a lovely lunch at Gray's. We ordered a jacket potato and a muffin with poached eggs, mushrooms and spinach. It was simple food but freshly cooked to perfection. The owner chatted to us and made us feel so welcomed, the service was excellent , not intrusive with the "right amount" of looking in on us. We enjoyed the lunch so much, that we had tea and cake to finish off. The choice of scones and cake was extensive, with different flavour combinations you won't find in the chain coffee shops. Grays is a real gem. 🥰

We booked afternoon tea. Staff were so helpful and service was great. Very steep steps up to restaurant but we were warned. The sandwiches were very good the scones excellent but the top layer of cakes were nothing special. We would have preferred tiny slices of their large cakes which looked delicious. There was as much good strong tea as you could drink.

Lovely tea room with great cake! Nice seating area upstairs, friendly and chatty staff! Recommend a stop off here for a refresh after visiting the Iron Bridge itself.

So much care and attention has gone into this cafe. We were particularly impressed by how accommodating they were towards our small children. I also loved how fresh everything was and hearing about the ingredients that had been used. I couldn’t recommend this cafe more highly.

Returned to Grays with a friend for breakfast after raving about how good it was . Although stairs a little tricky. Service and breakfast exceptional, didn't disappoint.
So good friend wants me to book again for this Saturday .

My Favourite Spot in Ironbridge, a Family run hidden gem With a very nice cosy Victorian decoration pleasant where music running at the background takes you to a different place and still enough to enjoy the view from the top floor window and to have a conversation with your beloved ones. Lovely afternoon tea, Freshly made food & bread and super nice friendly lady running the place making you feel home. It’s a must visit spot in Ironbridge!!

Really great atmosphere with allergies carefully catered for. I had a great almond milk latte while looking at a beautiful windowbox full of hyacinths, primula and daffodils. Friendly note to people with mobility issues, if you want to go upstairs it is rather steep. I was offered a lush corner table upstairs as I was after a quiet spot. :)
