An amazing little cafe in a remote location. The food is absolutely sensational, hand made, locally sourced and top quality. Service is island speed (gradual) but the wait is worth it. A must visit if you're in the area.
Great cafe which looks popular. Lovely outdoor space if weather is nice. Dogs not allowed inside, so we had soup to go with homemade bread which was delicious. Food we saw looked lovely. Not a farm shop
In the fully stocked sense but pop in if you're passing to support a local business!
A lovely, family-run, wee place!! We stumbled onto it by complete chance and ended up spending a good while there.
We had both items from the specials menu and they were well made and tasted fresh and delicious.
Service is friendly and not intrusive, we also bought more of the chutney and marmalades to take home. I would 100% recommend (and have done so already!).
Keep up the good work and we will be back next time we're on the island..
This excellent new cafe is amazing!! It’s well worth a trip (and it’s a very convenient stop along the way to the ferry to Iona.). The food was superb and plentiful - fresh, healthy and delicious and very reasonably priced. Everything we ordered was outstanding. I had the Chatter Platter, which included 3 delicious homemade relishes, grilled veggies and fresh fruit and bread. We also tried the Squeaky Cheese salad and the veggie burger - both just as great. Don’t miss the chips (curly fries) - they were awesome too. We really enjoyed meeting the family who run the cafe, including their son, who was very helpful too. A warm atmosphere and fantastic food made this a highlight of our visit.
The cafe just recently opened and we wish them all the best!!
Really fantastic food - more of a ‘lunchtime restaurant’ than a cafe perhaps. Extremely popular and busy when we went with understandably led to some long waits for tables. Worth pointing out there are no children’s options (though it seems they will do smaller portions of some things but it might be quite challenging for some children). It’s not the sort of place for bacon baps etc, but the food was super.
The best place to eat in Scotland! My favourite dishes were the Lifesaver burger and Caesar salad. My husband couldn't stop saying how good the burger was 🤣. Their Sourdough bread is amazing. Well done to the lady who makes it. The family who runs the place is also lovely with friendly service. We also bought some homemade chutney, cake, and dark chocolate to take with us, and we will definitely come back when we visit Mull again.
Amazing food. Incredible place. It’s a pity we could stay longer as we where on our way to Iona. The onion soup was incredibly good. The place itself is so nice.
Food is absolutely fantastic. However, the staff were very nice but lacked direction. This is a very fine eating place with freshly prepared food just slightly let down by slow and forgetful service. Possibly due to a lack of staff to serve.
We will visit again as the food on offer is of high quality.
What a great cafe! Excellent coffee and cake and charming ladies to boot - Its a must if you are going to or coming from Iona, don’t miss it
