The Original Phil's Diner

Me and two of my daughter's niped in here midday on a Sunday, the cafe was relatively busy. The staff were all very cheerful and all service was delivered with a smile, you could not have asked for anything more from them they were great. The girls had pan cakes and delux milkshake thing (amazing) only thing that let the whole experience down was the dryer breakfast, the egg was under cooked egg, ultra thinly sliced endemic mushrooms that were for a very short time deep fryed and the taistless bacon that resembles being cooked in a steam cooked. Beside all this we did have an enjoyable time and my wife wants to go there so who knows hopefully the breakfast will be better next time.

Anywhere that offers a breakfast option that includes a 6oz Beef Burger as standard deserves 5 stars in my opinion. Food was fantastic, service good, amazing milkshakes - caters for all, great as a family with suitable choices for children and perfect when with friends. See lots quibbling over price - a tad expensive, but not unreasonably priced in my opinion.

Very uniquely decorated American diner. The only one on the island. Own-made tasty coleslaw, paper straws (for the environmentally minded), proper Heinz mayo and ketchup, no rubbish. Good portion sizes, you will not go hungry. Colouring in and games for kids. Friendly staff, good air con, kids chairs and great selection of milkshakes!
