Le Tour Du Monde

Did not disappoint. The crispy Lamb starter off the specials menu was to die for! We would love to be staying longer as we'd relish the chance to work our way through the whole menu. Fiona and Lloyd offered a warm welcome and friendly advice on places to visit during our short stay. We highly recommend

We had THE most amazing meal here, I actually don't think our taste buds have ever been as privileged as they were that night. The taster of the risotto was absolutely out of this world, and the scallops and Chicken were just as mouthwateringly delicious. Lovely Fiona and Fabulous Chef Lloyd made our evening perfect, they are such warm and kind owners and hosts. A very special place for a truly 1st class meal. Great experience! One of the best restaurants in Isle of Wight! We booked Le Tour du Monde after a recommendation from a friend - having learned it was taken over by new ownership we kept our reservation and are extremely glad we did! We are fortunate enough to be able to visit restaurants all over the world and at Le Tour du Monde we had one of the most personal experiences with the owners. They were so warm, welcoming and friendly - it was like visiting family. The food was excellent too which is an even bigger bonus, every dish was great but the scallops were superb! Beautiful presentation. Excellent flavour, seasoning and balance all with great portions and at very reasonable prices. Anyone visiting Isle of Wight would be recommended to make the trip to Ventnor just to go to Le tour du Monde! Their wine menu is also interesting too with stories behind their selections.

Incredible, incredible, incredible! We were super lucky and managed to get into Le Tour du Monde for our last evening of our holiday after there was a cancellation. I spoke to Fiona over Facebook who happily booked us in and filled me in on all of their current vegan friendly dishes which I was super appreciative of. Throughout our holiday we have been looking for a place to eat where you can tell the food has been made with thought, care and attention to detail, with staff to match, and we found everything and more at Le Tour du Monde last night! The food was absolutely delicious, perfect portion sizes, presented beautifully with a friendly service that just made us feel at home, we also had the privilege of meeting the chef after our meal so we could thank him ourselves. The only negative thing we could say is that we are so sad we didn’t dine here everyday of our holiday, if we come to Ventnor or even just Isle of Wight again we will be travelling back to Le Tour du Monde for another lovely evening. Thank you so much guys!
