Service was good, staff were friendly. Next time I will loose control 😜
Took the kids here today for a little treat. The open doors on the front let In a great breeze during the summer days, and the decor is soooo candy shop!
While I was waiting to order, the manager invited my kids up to sample all the ice cream flavours which made their day, and made me less stressed about waiting in the que!
When the food came, the waffles were huge! The range of flavours were fantastic, and the sweet smell in the air reminded me of the German Christmas Market . The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was so relaxed. They also have a large selection on the menu, and you can create toppings as you please! It was a good price for a treat, and filling.
First time we've been here and was quite nice. The food was very tasty and I feel you get alot more if you go for a waffle/crepe that's in the menu instead of making your own.
Food was incredible, the choice was outstanding. So many different flavours of ice cream to choose from. The waffle was fluffy and springy just as it should be. It was incredibly tasty.
I was so impressed when I visited for the first time last week with my little girl and her best friend. It has to be the most friendly cafe in Newport! Charlie greeted us and immediately settled us into a table, with crayons and colouring appearing as if by magic! The girls loved the soft play and 'build a snowman' pancakes. And I loved the 5 mins peace and a lovely cup of coffee. All the staff were so helpful and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back - an absolute gem for families.
Our son received a price is wight voucher for sweet Charlie's. This is our second visit. Our 4 children had a sharing platter and it was huge!!!! They couldn't eat it all so we were given cardboard boxes to take it home in. Lovely quick service. Will return again

What ever your age, what ever the reason, kids treat, family bonding, recharge or even birthday, this place is well worth a visit. You will return ! The menu covers all sweets / desserts, milk shakes and waffles and ice cream sundays. The options are beyond your expectations !

My son and I had a wonderful time savouring the delights of the Chocolate tapas. Waffles, shortbread, strawberries,
bananas, chocolate brownie bites +++ with 2 pots of dipping chocolate. We both ordered Biscoff milkshakes to go with it. Delicious food and drinks with excellent service from friendly staff.
We loved it so much that we've ordered another deal. This place is likely to become a regular with us.
I highly recommend both the experience and Sweet Charlie's itself.
Had a great sweet lunch and Sweet Charlie's. Friendly staff, great food and fantastic décor. Your gonna be eating a lot of sugar but it's top tier. Would recommend 👌👌👌
