Yet again Sally and I were well looked after in this place. We ate between shows at the cinema and Hobson's Choice is very well situated for this (or for drinks/meals before or after even your show) Better yet, my meal was with a 20% discount thanks to my Defence Force Discount card (blue light discounts) It's always crowded here so it pays to book...

One of my favourite places for lunch. However today there was no decaffeinated coffee. I had regular latte and there was a hair floating on the top! My husband told the waitress and she replaced it with no sorry. Then the cutlery was dumped on the table without a word. The food was lovely and the disabled toilet very clean and usable.

I was visiting the area and some friends took me to Hobsons Choice for breakfast. It was the prefect choice. I had the big plate, I think it was called something like that. Check out the picture - enough food for a small army! The food was tasty, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to other. Super Sunday Carvery lunch. Melt in the mouth turkey and all the trimmings. It was delicious. Friendly helpful staff. Prompt service. Great value. Well worth the visit. We shall be back again soon.

Main courses very average, reasonably priced. Sunday lunch ok. Desserts- Crumble and custard swamped with custard. The Sundae was huge, two of us couldn't finish it. Tasty , and only £7

Booked for Father's Day and was easy to sort with not to much notice. Had a lovely welcome on arrival from a lady I think was called Louise, and recieved amazing service from Jo behind the bar (makes a big difference when the kids are acknowledged and spoken to for our family). Food was lovely, but puddings were outstanding and were huge for the price! Can highly recommend the Katchos! Thank you for a lovely meal and experience.
