We came across this place online and went to check it out as there's not much choice for authentic Italian restaurants in Leicester. I find it quite hard to find a place where they cater for vegans, however this place so amazing and so accommodating. The owner himself served us and told me don't worry everything is made fresh and we can cater to any dietary needs which was such relief. The food was the best Italian food I have tasted and so fresh and tasty. The restaurant has nice decor and it looks very quaint with character. Thank you for such a lovely meal and experience. We will definitely be back again soon. Ciao

A very stylish restaurant, fabulous menu for food and drink. The staff are polite and attentive, and the food is of a high standard. Pricing is probably a little higher than surrounding restaurants of a similar genre, but not excessive. Well worth a visit.
I've stopped by chance on this place on the way back from Sheffield to Cambridge and, even if it's more the one hour driving from where I live, I'll go back again!
The pizza is one of the best Italian pizza I had in the all Cambridgeshire and prices are way lower than in Cambridge. I had also a portion of "Calamari" which was super tasty.
The owners are friendly and the environment is a true breath of Italian style.
Absolutely amazing! The new Italian chef knows how to do his job! We had piazzas last night we started eating them up with our eyes..they were absolutely beautiful! The taste is amazing, you would know for sure he is using first quality ingredients! We'll get more very soon! Proper Italian pizza... and I'm Italian! :D

The staff are always incredible and the food tastes delicious every single visit.
Regardless of whether your in a large or small group the food is always second to none
The prices on the menu definitely reflect beautifully the quality of the cuisine.
Everything about the restaurant is on point.
Toilets are also very clean every visit.

We've really missed our visits to Vivo during the Covid Crisis, but it was great to find out they'd started doing takeaways! Food was delivered on time – or rather a bit early even!
Luigi and the team had done a great job of getting our order right, they had obviously put a lot of thought into it, oil for our bread, extra parmesan in a little tub, and even some complimentary deserts. Really can’t fault the service and the food from start to finish, was genuine authentic restaurant quality, which I’ll be honest we weren’t expecting.
We can’t wait to have it again in a few weeks, and hopefully Vivo may continue to do takeaways even when the world gets back to normal. 6 stars out of 5 Luigi, but Google will only let me give 5 stars. Thank you so much for your efforts and for brightening up our Saturday evening during this difficult time!
We were apprehensive about our visit as we had heard mixed reviews for Vivo. We need not have worried. We had a great lunch! There were seven of us ranging in age from 7 to 84. The food was superb and the service fantastic. We were able to totally relax and enjoy ourselves. Authentic Italian - we will definitely go back.
Great food, fantastic staff. Only reason it wasn't a 5 was just the drinks choice was a little poor. If you like wine then fantastic but unfortunately I do not. But thank you Vivo staff, I had an amazing evening.

Had the two course lunch menu which was £10.95 each. Food was well prepared and full of flavour. Will come back again!
Regular Italian restaurant with good tasty food. Price is reasonable and the portions are not too big so this gives you the opportunity to order a few of the courses. I did not like the ice cream though, it tasted like very cheap ice cream you can buy in bulk but ok, the rest of the cooked food was fine.
Just visited this restaurant today for the first time. We went with 12 people including 2 children and the restaurant was very accommodating.
I found the food to be superb and I had 3 courses a goat cheese starter, seafood main with squid ink pasta finished off with a beautiful panacotta. Finished every plate.
I found the service a little haphazard but not something that would put me of going again, service just needs to be organised a little better .
I will be recommending this restaurant to all my friend's and family and will of course be returning to you again in the very near future.
