I enjoyed dining at the restaurant , and I ordered the Lamb Chettinad dish. The flavors of the Lamb Chettinad were outstanding – rich, aromatic, and packed with spices that gave it a delightful kick. The tenderness of the lamb was spot on, and it paired wonderfully with the fragrant rice. The portion size was satisfying, and the presentation was visually appealing. Overall, it was a delicious and memorable dining experience.

simple Nepalese restaurant with a lovely ambience serving nice authentic cuisine. Good staff, great service and reasonable prices. We ate Chicken momos Gulkali lamb Pokrali daal good value for Money significantly. All meals were good, both in size and flavours. Karahai chicken was so good, full of flavour with a good kick. As always, drinks are so good but very good night. Its was a lovely time spend over there. I would like go back and try some new dishes.

Delicious dinner! Space to sit outside too. Had the signature dish (chicken wrapped around a prawn in tikka masala sauce). No idea how that becomes a signature dish but I’m not complaining, was delicious! My grandad had the mixed grill. The rice portion was huge - we shared between 3 - and the peshwari naan was delicious! Washed down with a nice pint of kingfisher after a long day at Kew Gardens. Plenty of pubs nearby for a drink after too.

We come here often as the food is so amazing. The food is very aromatic and delicious. My wife loves the King Prawn Miteri with Nepalese Special rice. I always have something different from the specialty menu and it is always great. The staff are always attentive and offer great service. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

An amazing nepalese restaurant with very friendly staff and an incredible atmosphere! All the food was stunning and fairly quickly delivered. The lamb was beautifully cooked and had a perfect balance of spices and salts, the mango lassi was delicious and very nicely balanced, the lamb biryani was very spicy but incredibly delicious, the dahl was a world of spice but flavoured very nicely and the butter chicken pairs incredibly nicely with the very large selection of delicious naan breads and overall, the experience was incredible and the food was even better!

Everything about the dining experience at Rara was 5 star. The service was impeccable, the restaurant decor and place settings was inviting, and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed our meal and the staff was happy to pack up our extras. If you are in Kew you shouldn’t miss this exceptional family restaurant. We ate papadam with mint and mango sauce, garlic naan, chili chicken, chicken tikka, lamb chetinad, and aloo phool gobi.
