Park Gate Inn

Visited around lunchtime. The pub wasn't too busy but a nice steady of people coming in for meals. It was half-term and they had an offer on where kids eat for £1 with adults purchasing a main. They also have a lunchtime specials menu. Very good value. Staff very pleasant and polite. Food was served in good time. Good portions, was tasty and nice and hot. Nice venue and atmosphere. Will visit again

First time we've visited since the previous landlady and head chef had left. Very pleasant experience - food was good albeit we only had scampi and chips. Staff were very pleasant. Short staffed as a member of the team had failed to turn up which meant the lady tending bar was very much under pressure but she remained calm and very pleasant throughout.

Really nice wholesome food in very nice surroundings at a reasonable price. Staff were attentive, nice and friendly. Only downside is the QR for the table service didn't work. Not a huge issue as it's easy enough to order from the bar. There was also a wasp buzzing around which was a pain at times but not much anyone can do about nature ! I would recommend 👍

It was a family meal booked very late as we were let down by another eaterie. Warm welcome on arrival ,seating comfortable but table surface felt a little tacky. Food and drinks ordered at the bar all very efficient. Food was mostly very good, one piece of meat in a pie was a bit gristly but otherwise fine. Pleasant atmosphere and staff worked well.

It was such a nice place to visit I’ve been twice now with my family and partner and we’ve sat inside and outside to eat and drink and it’s been great both times. The staff are incredible, so polite and always on the ball so credit to them. The food always comes out perfect, still hot and yet delicious. Even when they are fully booked the food is out to you within a respectable amount of time so credit to the kitchen staff for always being on top of it. I would always recommend this place to anyone as it’s always top notch and just a very enjoyable environment. I look forward to coming again another day :)

A busy Bank Holiday Saturday evening in the sunshine and the staff were amazing. Very few front of house/bar staff visible but so friendly and efficient that's all that was needed. One bar man was on his first day but was so skilled that we thought he must be the Manager but no, the Manager was in the kitchen as they were short staffed........it didn't show. The waitress was running the inside and outside dining areas efficiently and still had time for a quick chat - she had stepped in from another establishment to help her old boss out as they were short staffed. It didn't show. Food came out in good time and piping hot. Many congratulations to all the staff for a job well done. You excelled yourselves.
