The food and service here was excellent , highly recommend Riverside Restaurant .
Just got home from a great Christmas meal here. We were a big party (20) but staff were very friendly, attentive and organised. Thanks for a lovely festive evening
Lovely restaurant by the river, so much character! Dark exposed beams and trusses with white painted ceiling panels. Nicely complemented by the lighter stained wooden tables and floor. The soft palette of white and light grey on the walls makes it feel bright and airy.
The food was really good! Starter of shrimp and leek tart, with local brown shrimps, had a well balanced combination of flavours and was very tasty.
Main of strips of monkfish with chorizo. Very well executed. The combination of flavours was great and the sauce delicious. Had I been at home I would have been dipping on that delicious sauce with bread!
Both a starter and main had a beautiful combination of flavours and textures, the main in particular. My only nibble, the portion was a bit on the small side for a main. They probably know that so it was accompanied by a good size portion of chips.
My dessert of double chocolate cheesecake was to die for and a fitting end to a delicious meal.
In brief, a lovely restaurant with very good food. It has a very relaxing and comfy vibe, the staff are great and service first class. Special mention to Grace, she was just superb!
We've just had a delicious dinner at the Riverside and we we're very happy with the food and service from the beginning to end of the meal.
Its location is alongside the river and it has a pleasant terrace where we enjoyed a drink before eating in the restaurant. The young waiting on staff were eager to please and their attention added to the pleasure of the meal.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Arbroath Smokies, the Sandringham lamb and the cheese board whilst my husband also recommended the chicken.
A very pleasant meal at reasonable prices.
Lovely meal, really lovely staff! I only took away one star as it took a while to get a hold of them too make a booking. As their phone lines where down. So get in contact over Facebook. Also heart radio was blasting but we were the only ones in ahah added photo of opening hours as they seem to be different online x
Food was excellent. Good service, very welcoming.. Great place. Would recommend
Charming low-beamed restaurant overlooking the river with great view, especially when the tide is high. The service was smiley-faced and prompt and their mushroom soup with croutons and French bread and butter was delicious. Tea for two, cappuccino and a slice of their Victoria sponge just hits the spot when you've been shopping or sightseeing around Lynn 👌
We stumbled across this restaurant on a recent visit to King's Lynn and were so glad we did.
Food is excellent, menu is varied and all the dishes we had we're lovely.
Staff were very friendly and it is a beautiful setting. We watched the sun set over the river as we ate.
We loved it so much we returned the next night with more of our family and my parents visited again a few days later.
Good kids menu with their dishes cooked fresh and desserts were divine.
Just wish we lived closer to be able to visit more often!
This was a wonderful find. Not the easiest place to get to but well worth it. It was quiet so we go a table overlooking the river. The food was excellent and the staff were warm freindly and attentive. Highly recommended.
Excellent place to eat and great location.
The staff were brilliant.
Enjoyed a coffee and a light cooked snack .
Nice place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere
Had the over 60,s set lunch tasty food and delicious cheesecake, however felt the main meal was too small to be considered good value. Also the room was far too warm for us to enjoy the occasion. Will return but try a coffee and a cake outside in the lovely seating area overlooking the river.
