I came up to Hull for work and went to The Aegean restaurant which serves delicious Greek food. I had saganaki and calamari. The calamari was so soft and fresh. Portion was enormous that I couldn’t finish it all.
The saganaki is my guilty pleasure it’s so tasty and delicious.
The service from the Greek waiter was brilliant and it was good to speak to him in the native language. I never expected such a fantastic Greek restaurant in Hull, in the North East England.
Really excellent restaurant just wish had discovered this place earlier. Food is very well seasoned and fish is fresh. I also ordered a Greek salad under the expectation that the fish wouldn't come with any salad but we didn't really need this. The only negative thing was the stairs and toilets were a bit grubby.
Fantastic Greek night with great tasting food and music. Really enjoyed it and would recommend attending one of the special events. It's the second time we've been and absolutely loved it 🇬🇷 🇬🇷 🇬🇷
The food portions are great for the price and the lamb was good! The waiter who attended to me was polite (always a good sign).
The slightly down side for me was the stuffed vine leaves could have more minced beef in it.
Tried here one day passing through the town and was very surprised, the food was very tasty and the portion is definitely worth the money. Some places these days want to try and charge you for coleslaw and salad as an extra here everything you see cost me around £12!
The food was so nice I had to come back the next day and the staff are both friendly, the woman at the front plus the chef even gave me a thumbs up from the back.

Great venue, great location, it felt like we were back on our Greek holiday. Highly recommend, and this will be a regular feeding and watering hole.👍👍
Oh my word I'm speechless! I've been here tonight with my hubby and our friends, I've had the best mousakka I've ever had in all my years, even though I've been to Greece and Cyprus many times, nothing has ever compared to what I've tasted tonight . Deserts also to die for, and wine was devine. Definitely would highly recommend this restaurant without a doubt.

Although it was a Wednesday evening there was a very nice atmosphere due to there being a large party in as well as several smaller tables. Food as always was excellent and the service was top notch considering the large party. Well done Aegean Taverna!
Never a let down at this restaurant. Tried a few different meals on their menu and all have been so tasty and filling. We came last month a group of 15 and all the food arrived at the same time,service was outstanding.
