went for meal with my grand daughter to celebrate her 11th birthday was quite a few of us and we had younger kids with us plus older ones .daughter booked a booth with tv to keep kiddies occupied, had a lovely meal staff very pleasant and always have a smile would defo recommend you to anyone and even better it is local ,
Brilliant pub wether for a girls lunch, family meal, or a night out.
All the staff are so attentive and go above and beyond, ensuring customer service is always excellent, Lewis, Sophie and Charlotte to name a few.
Carl the manager always stops to say hi no matter how busy and is always present working hard with the team.
Food and drink menu offers a good variety, the pub is always clean with a nice seating area outside.
I would definitely recommend, children friendly and welcoming to new faces as well as old �
Just shared a work colleague lunchtime at Apollo. First visit for a very long time.
Decent place, clean and big. Plenty of options for dining. Bench seating with tables, tables for 4 and 6 scattered about. If you enjoy watching sport on TV there are plenty of screens around to view. No TVs in the space beside the fenced off outdoor area, which is where we chose to sit. Ladies loo literally 10' away. Clean and functional.
Menu is very good. Plenty of meat free options. And a couple of vegan. Burgers, Hunter's Chicken and the cauliflower and red pepper curry were our choices. All food was delicious and hot. And served on hot plates, yay. Clean plates all round. I loved the curry and would have it again. We all had the chocolate brownie sundae for dessert. Fabulous!
Latte was lovely. Service at the bar was friendly, polite and efficient. Our server (Jayne) was efficient.
All in all I'd recommend Apollo as a lunchtime stop off. Prices, service and environment are all excellent.
Received a warm welcome as soon as I entered The Apollo. Was shown to the table I reserved. Once we had placed our order it was delivered quickly and the staff were very friendly and asked if we needed anything else they could get us. The food was well presented,hot and delicious. Would recommend and visit again

Entered a lively pub with a good atmosphere without a booking. They found us a table in a really packed place and our meal was delivered to our tale within 20 minutes. We had a mixed grill which was well presented tasted superb and was well appreciated after a hard week at work. Staff pleasant and attentative cannot fault it
Great prices great food .very helpful and cheerful staff. Started to go for food more and more.prices are reasonable atmosphere pleasant and not that loud you can't hear yourself talk like some pubs. Inside and out seating.

I have been here a few times now with my parents for a lunchtime meal and it has always been good. My mum gets the scampi and chips and my dad gets the mixed grill. They're always happy with their food. I get a vegan meal which is the vegan nacho sharer. The reason I get the sharer as a main meal is because the other vegan options don't personally appeal to me. There is a curry available which sounds ok but it's a very mild kind of curry whereas I'm more into something more hot.
This is something most restaurants and supermarkets do for some reason and I'm not sure why, but the veggie/vegan curry option (singular, sadly) is pretty much always just a super mild, almost fruity sauce while the sauces on the meat options are varied and much nicer. To be fair they do some pretty nice looking vegan 'chicken' strips here with a good mayo sauce. The nacho sharer is fantastic, very filling and at a very decent price.
The chocolate praline tart is lovely. It's much appreciated when a restaurant does a good dessert when you're vegan. So many others just do a token crumble or sorbet to tick the vegan box, but this one has an actual chocolate dessert that tastes amazing.
The staff are really nice and helpful, particularly Jayne who has been super helpful and really very lovely.
Staff excellent, very accommodating and prompt service. Meal was hot and steaks were cooked exactly as requested, beautiful meal. Plenty of choice from menu and specials board. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely great all round . Polite and attentive . We booked a table for 5 online . . We requested window seat and got it . Great . All meals served together and we didn't wait long , food was fantastic and cooked to our request.

Fantastic steak for me and the wife followed by sweet. Could not fault the food or service. Looked after by Millie who was first class. To cap this used a 30% voucher which made things all the better. Even at full price the experience was very worthwhile. Thank you Apollo.
