Had the buffalo wings for lunch today, and they were so good. The best thing I’ve ever had for lunch while working in town.

Went for lunch today and the steak sandwich was lovely! The sweet potato fries were great too. I will be back

Absolutely incredible food! The team at STB could not have been more helpful with catering our wedding. From the original consultation, tastings, to the team catering the event on the day, they made everything extremely easy and served up delicious food for our guests. We cannot say enough good things and have zero hesitation in recommending STB for any occasion. Thank you to everyone there!

Sarah, Dan and the team we’re a brilliant to work with whilst planning our wedding on my families farm in Sheffield. I was planning the wedding remotely from France but Sarah was very professional to communicate with, easily accommodated a custom recipe and I felt really confident that things would go to plan. The weather didn’t really go to plan… I think it was one of the wettest July weekends I’ve seen but Dan and the team took everything in their stride and even managed to keep the food warm and perfect to accommodate a 1 hour delay - still not sure how they managed that for 90 guests?! The team went above and beyond - even moving tables when we had to bring the ceremony inside, rescuing lost guests (?!) and working against the elements. Luckily we had the tractor on hand to get the airstream offsite - but it all added to the chaotic charm! Thanks again - you made one beef farming grandad with high standards in a roast dinner happy! Success!

Love it. Great spot, comfortable, stunning and surprising food! Terrific effort and a great place to stop by anytime of the week. I hope it always stays this good, there should be more like it in Hull! Essential Old Town visit.

Amazing food, great service. More expensive than the other places in the area but the cost is definitely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to treat themselves!

Hidden gem in the old town. Make sure you book, it's not the cheapest, but quality always costs that little bit extra. Great meal, great service. Narrow stairs for anyone that has a problem with them . Now for the food.. hummus a bit dry. But that's the only thing I could fault. Venison, Haddock Scottish not to be missed. Steaks looked perfectly cooked, Halibut was great....Enjoy

Came here based on trying there street food in Leeds (great by the way). The location is central, authentic and cosy (additional seating upstairs). The rock and roll in the background is nicely atmospheric and there's a good selection of local beers. The highlight is the meat, cooked to tender perfection and worth tasting. The truffle fries are very good but the potato itself needs more lover. It's very good and worth the visit. I would however say the street food stall they have is even better if you see it!

My absolute favourite restaurant in Hull. Great pub with an extensive menu and the upstairs restaurant is so quaint. The food is exceptional and the service too. There is a very good wine list, a large selection of gin and real ale too. Worth a visit to Hull just to eat here!

What a find, cozy atmosphere, lovely selection of beers and wines. The main event though is the fabulous food. Rare cuts of beef, I had the flat iron steak, as well as a choice of fish, all locally sourced and perfectly cooked. This place is a must, note you will need to book ahead.
