I took my two grandchildren Ivy and Henry on Saturday before we went to see Awful Auntie at the new theatre .i have been on my own before but have never taken children. They were wonderful so attentive commented on how well behaved they were. Gave them crayons a menu they could draw on the back. The food was amazing and an ice cream to finish. Nothing left on our plates from the outside looks nothing really.BUT inside a dream well done will recommend recommend recommend will not go anywhere else in Hull now for a meal with the little ones or me on my own . Congratulations The Omlette wonderful.
Been coming to the Omelette since the late 80's, it has always been a lovely place to eat and the food has always been as good as it is today. Sad to see reviews saying that the staff are not treated well - the staff who have looked after us have been polite and efficient - but you won't keep good staff if you don't look after them. I can recommend the food and service and I will return. ...
The staff were really helpful, I'd been to the dentist earlier and needed something soft, they did me a lovely fluffy mushroom and cheese omelette with no chips or salad. Just what I needed, as I was still numb from the injections. I accompanied it with a cool glass of apple juice. I'll be back, in fact I've booked for us all before we go to the theatre.
They were very busy but managed to find us a table.
The service was excellent and the food was fantastic.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid, my mother has always liked it in here. Whenever we are at the theatre or city hall we come here for our tea first. I even come here on my own for luch when I'm in town. It's changed hands lately but the food and service are still good. The girls who serve you are lovely, really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good and plenty on your plate, it usually beats us most times. Could just do with being a bit warmer, it can be a bit cool due to big windows and the door opening. Can't wait to go again on Wednesday.

Went for tea the food and service was great(could be we wer the only ones in) but really the food was hot only bottled beer no pumps would go again
Had to stay in Hull for 2 nights and finding the Omelette Restaurant was a huge win!

Absolutely love this place, always great food and great service. Prices are typical restaurant prices, but the standard of food is superior to most places.
I would definitely recommend the prawns in garlic and chilli for a starter
