Popped into salthouse for some lunch today and was really impressed. I ordered steak and it was really soft and nice. My daughter ordered a full English and everything on her plate was cooked to perfection. I dont usually rate oub food but it was really nice. The chef Alice came over afterwards and was so lovely when I complimented her on the meals. We stayed awhile and me and my partner had a drink, his phone was nearly dead and the bar staff Robbie and Maria was lovely and got him a charger. Was a really welcoming and nice atmosphere while the football was on. Will definitely be returning again!

I visited for a meal the food was lovely. Nice atmosphere. And lovely bar staff especially Robbie. She was very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help definitely service with a smile 😊.

I visit The Saltshouse regularly and I'm always greeted with a smile by the excellent bar staff, in particular the young lady Robbie. Always made to feel welcome, brilliant pub!

Always had a nice time at this place, being my local I've been a fair few times and the standard of food and drink is always good. Bar service is great too.

The pub is quite spacious and can accommodate a large crowd, although there aren't many drink options that suit my taste. However, my experience wasn't too bad, and I even had a couple of enjoyable conversations with the regular customers.
