Just eaten fish chips and peas from this friendly local chippy, and couldn't be more pleased. Great portion size, fresh as a daisy, and great value. Will definitely be going g back to try the rest of the menu. Thanks!

Foods great just let down by the delivery drivers who stare at you constantly and are seen picking up cigarette ends outside on a night other than that nice place and food

Great service, food is lovely but could have been a little fresher. Spam fitter batter could have done a little longer in the fryer. I prefer the curry sauce to be a little thicker. Chips are nice but not awesome. I need to try at peak times to see if it's better.

Absolute recommended place for a beautiful day! Ordered medium fish and chips special twice for only £7.90 and the amount you get is crazy good. Gravy pot is 110% big enough. The fish and chips are freshly cooked right infront of you if you enter the shop. The fish is also perfectly done as it is always tender and easy to pull apart and tastes amazing. That goes for the same for the chips. So, for anyone that wants a good meal, for a good price should definitely get there!

After trying several F&C takeaways (for delivery) me and the missus have settled on GR and have enjoyed it half a dozen times (usually off Just Eat).
The spam fritters are massive and absolute quality, really enjoy the fish, and the chips are your standard massive portion. If anything, the gravy could stand to be a touch thicker but apart from that I have nothing but praise for GR and will continue to order from here whenever we get the craving for fish & chips 👍

Got a Saturday lunch time delivery through Just Eat. The fish was lovely with nice big flakes. The portion of fish and chips was generous and the chips were nice. Would definitely order again
