Cannot praise this place highly enough and I wish it was more than a pop up. My daughter took me for my birthday and I'm still telling anyone who will listen about it almost 2 weeks later. I'd love to go again before they leave.. fingers crossed I will get there before they go! I haven't posted any photos of the food as we were sitting right next to the bright red neon sign so nothing has a natural tone in the pictures.. but it really was delicious!

I have eaten in the restaurant on 4 occasions now. Part of a large group, with my dad, on a date night and with a friend. I have had food to cook at home (during lockdown), had the normal small plates menu and the Sunday lunch menu and it never fails to impress.
The menu changes regularly so they always have fresh ideas coming to the plate as well as old faves returning. The restaurant has a great vibe and relaxed atmosphere.
The reason I love it and think its the best place to eat in hull is not only the amazing food, presentation, fresh ingredients, great selection of beers, cocktails and natural wines but also the overall aesthetic of the place. It utilises the amazing building with its original features and adds a dash of punk with great artwork and nods to music, film and pop culture reference points sprinkled throughout. Plus they play awesome music.
The staff are amazingly friendly and really sell the dishes when they walk you through the menu.
I have attached some pics of the dishes I have had. Stand outs have been thr naga chilli potatoes with potato foam and cheddar cheese. The bbq watermelon and beef fillet was a combo I would not have imagined together but worked beautifully. The Thai salad is an amazing side dishe. The freshest of herbs and ingredients 👌. The cocktail menu changes regularly and again features some great combinations.
I love the whole easthetic of the place and it as a brand. It may be the things that's 10 a penny in leeds, manchester or London but for hull its what we have been crying out for. Amazing food, real personality and modern twists on dishes. its amazing independant food and Hull needs more great places like this.
A birthday lunch celebration and the restaurant certainly lived up to the comments I had heard and the reviews I have seen ... A delightful "alternative" with the aesthetic artwork, great atmosphere, vibe and music (in the background) giving a real indication of the quality of food to come .. Staff are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable .. Cocktails, Beers and wines .. Asian influences and fabulous combinations of flavour and texture ... If you are in Hull and looking for an excellent and memorable dining experience then this place is a must.
Popped in tonight for my birthday with my mum. Oh my god. Been meaning to come here for a while because all my friends have had nothing but great things to say, and so glad I was finally able to come. The food is other worldly, some of the best flavours I’ve ever tasted, just really gorgeous. Cocktails were beautiful and the atmosphere and decor is everything I love. Thanks so much to the two lovely lasses that served us! Will 1000% be back and recommending!

Decadent luxury. Top 5 restaurant I've been too anywhere on earth and I've been all over!! Do yourself a favour and get yourself on the guest list/booked in. The dining experience here is more like an event. Relaxed. Informal. Extremely friendly. Oh and my oh my, the food is truly wonderful. Every bite, every mouthful, every last crumb on each and every plate serves a purpose. Complex and rich flavour. Savour every taste. Get involved. Love these guys so much. Amazing food every time we go and the flavour combinations are insane! So, so good. So pleased to have somewhere like this in Hull, this place is a huge asset to the city and we hope it’ll be around for as long as we need feeding! Amazing cocktails too. The cucumber cooler was a revelation, as was the chilled red wine. Awesome sound track to our evenings too. Smashing it!
Such a gem this place. Amazing Sunday lunch. Every single part of it was delicious. Great cocktails too. The restaurant itself is full of character and it’s great to see the owners personality come through in the way it does. It’s really unique and I can’t wait to go back and try the small plates menu!
