M&s Simply Food

This was the first time I had been shopping for a year as I have been shielding throughout this pandemic. This shop thinks of its customers social distancing throughout the store. The person outside sanitizing the trolleys everything you would expect. Fantastic experience. I was very nervous with no need to be as I felt safe. Well done Marks&Spencer's.

I saw an advertisement on the tv for their dine in meal deal which looked very good value. After making a choice before visiting, I was slightly disappointed that the majority of the dishes on the offer had been already sold. I couldn't see anyone bringing out extra stock so I picked out the meal deal from what was left. Looking into my basket of food I felt like it was a touch over priced for what there was, hopefully it will taste great! The store was popular with other shoppers & the staff were friendly. Car parking right outside the entrance.

It's shame that the large M&S store closed in the centre of Hull after 100 years of trading. But this mainly food and drinks store is on the edge of the city on the Anlaby Retail Park. Quality products and although the store is of modest size it does include a cafe. Our favourite buy is a choice of 3 food items and a bottle of wine to make a complete meal for 2 for £12. Amazing quality and value.

Great selection of food and drink here, including small bottle alcohol-free wines in red, rosé and white. Always clean and tidy, with helpful staff. The best part of this store is the bakery, which offers at least three types of sourdough loaves each day (the San Fran loaf is lovely!), cronuts and Danish pastries. As of 28th October 2020 the store is undergoing a partial restructure to help with Covid-19 measures and remove the clothing section.

Great little store, I personally don't do my weekly shop here but do pop in for the odd couple of little bits and the cafe area is great for a coffee and cake. Staff are always pleasant, store is always very tidy and can get very busy. The store is located on a retail park so always lots of parking available.
