The Canbury Arms

We hired the private room for my daughter's 6th birthday party and everything was perfect! Great communication and organisation (thanks Yovela), beautiful room and the food/drink was fabulous, well timed, and reasonably priced. All the children had an absolute ball. The atmosphere downstairs was so good that we stayed for a cheeky pint downstairs before we left. I've also hired the room for my older daughter's birthday in a few weeks and I feel reassured that we'll be well looked after again.

My go-to pub for a Sunday roast in Kingston. Beautiful interiors and a very relaxed atmosphere. It took a bit for the waiter to take our order, but after that, everything went smoothly. The food is of high quality and perfectly cooked. My partner and I had the anchovies as a starter and pork belly and beef roasts which were delicious. Just a little note on the gravy; I found it a bit watery, not as good as usual, but that's something small.

I held my birthday party at the pub and the team were outstanding throughout. They responded promptly to my dozens of emails beforehand and were really flexible and patient, catering to my needs perfectly. On the day they were really friendly and attentive and the food and service was perfect. The pub is a lovely space both indoors and outdoors - certainly one of the best in the area, and everyone came away saying they hadn't realised there was such a nice pub so close to Kingston station. I wouldn't hesitate to do future events at the pub and am already looking forward to my next visit.
