I booked the Bishop back in April for a special celebration and had a smashing time. We were upstairs with ample space for dancing and seating comfortably. Our own bar and WC area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I ordered the sharing platters and they were amazing. Everybody had a fantastic time and the views from their balcony of the river and Kingston bridge at night were an added bonus. Thank you guys!
Probably about a 3.5 to be fair. The drinks are expensive and the pub a tiny bit soulless even after the refurb.
I did enjoy the balcony though, which was nice in the sun making my review a bit more generous. An Estrella in the sun was great, but my consumption is limited at £6.70 a pint. Inside seemed a bit dreary too, so won’t hurry here off season.
A wonderful pub along the river with a premium menu. Plenty of delicious vegan options including a Cauli steak. This was my second time trying one & it was definitely worth the money. With a wonderful view & friendly staff, it’s definitely one of Kingstons top pubs.

I had wedding reception here and it was the best I could have wished for. We hired the top floor with a view of the Kingston Bridge and Thames which was very exciting for all my visiting friends and family. Everyone loved the food and I was able to set up and decorate the space as I wanted. In the months following the preparations the whole team were easy to deal with, super good to accommodate and took a large pressure off my plate so that I could thoroughly enjoy my wedding. Thank you to the management team, Ben, Matthew, Carl and Nate and to the other Ben who hosted us by serving all guests at the bar throughout the whole reception. BEST PUB AND RESTAURANT IN TOWN! 🎶❤🧡🕺💃

We had a fantastic time at The Bishop, we chose the “All in” option from the wide variety on the menu - it was huge & delicious! Cooked really well and the service was fantastic too. They’ve just had a refurb so the place looks amazing, will definitely be returning!
My husband and I come in today for lunch and could have stayed all day. The service from the staff was unmatched. Sophie the charming young lady at the bar was wonderful. Emily the another amazing server took our order from the table. Was incredibly informative about the menu, made my husband Alan and I feel right at home. Then our food was brought over by B, the attention to the table was perfect and the they made sure we had everything we needed. I had the beef pie and Alan had the bishop burger. Both were amazing, a beef bonanza. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to you all at the bishop for making our weekend.
Had a lovely Sunday evening here with my partner as we both enjoyed an excellent roast dinner served by Bianca. She is an absolute credit to the Bishop, asking us how we were, before she took our order, as well as suggesting an excellent additional side and providing extra gravy without being asked. It was our first time eating here and it won't be the last, both due to the food and staff.
Very nice pub on the Kingston riverfront. Service was quick and friendly, definitely worth a pop in if you’re in Kingston and particularly if along the river. There was live music outside (not part of the bishops offering) but it was a nice touch and added to the atmosphere of the evening
First time visiting, and although it was very busy, we were seated quickly. Staff were very attentive, and food arrived quickly and was delicious. Great choice on the menu, including children's. When we're back in the area again, we will definitely visit again!
Went for brunch with my Mum at this amazing pub by the river. It's one if the best brunches I've had in a long time. Service was fabulous from Jamie and Max, and the food is fantastic. Really freshly cooked. I ordered the full English and my Mum ordered a bacon and egg bap. We also had tea and a cappuccino. Loved it!
