Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will definitely return.
Food was absolutely delicious and extremely good value. We ate lunch (from the lunch menu) - £35 for two people, two courses & drinks.
Plenty of vegetarian dishes for me & meat for my husband, which he said was fantastic. He is a slightly picky eater (no onion, mayo on the side, meat "medium well") & they got his order bang on (he usually finds restaurants get at least something wrong).
I think it's always a good sign when an ethnic restaurant is patronised by people of that ethnicity & there were several tables of people who appeared to be of Iranian origin eating there.
Additionally, the toilets were spotless - again I take it as a good sign in a restaurant that they keep the place clean.
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed.
Great environment, excellent traditional Persian decor, good food and good service. Flat bread is freshly baked. We had vegetarian food for the main course. It was well prepared and the portions were generous. Will definitely revisit.
While visiting Kingston we came across this restaurant and decided to pop in as we love Persian food and it looked busy. The decor looked amazing, simple but very elegant. We were welcomed by a lovely waitress and taken to a table, the staff were all helpful and friendly. The menu looked more interesting than the other Persian restaurants which we have previously eaten in. We ordered a few starter to share which were delicious. For the main courses we ordered some grilled Kebab which were really tasty and not fatty, the walnut and duck stew was amazing. For desert we had traditional Persian ice cream which was great too. Although the kitchen was slow the wait was worth it! We were told that they opened only a few days ago and had a few initial issues which slowed down the service. They also had live music which was a bonus. We will definitely dine here again when we come back to Kingston.

The best Persian restaurant from here to California. The food is authentic yet modern to cater to all your senses and taste buds. Absolutely delicious and the quality is amazing. The atmosphere is traditional and authentic yet modern with so much class. The music is an incredible bonus and every time the entire experience at Shiraz restaurant in Kingston gets better rand better.
Well done to the management, the staff and the owner.
A Persian gem in the heart of Kingston!
My wife and I had a wonderful delicious lunch here yesterday. A beautiful restaurant with a relaxed and unstuffy atmosphere and also child friendly for our 16 month old son.
The flavour combinations are delicious, the portion sizes generous and the quality of the ingredients shines through in every dish.
Our waiter was friendly, attentive and also very sweet with our son.
We couldn't believe how quiet the restaurant was for a Saturday afternoon, especially given the number of Christmas shoppers on the streets outside. We only hope more people catch on to this awesome place soon and give it a chance; for my wife and I it's one of the very best restaurants Kingston has to offer.
This was our second time dining here and it won't be our last! The first time we took my mother in law who is an expert on Persian cuisine and both she and us give Shiraz a big thumbs up!
Fabulous food and service. Staff were really attentive and were always there ready when we needed, but not at all intrusive. A fairly new restaurant to Kingston and offers something different from all the Italian chains that profligate any town centre. This really is a hidden gem. We were a group of 14 and many of my group had not tried the food before, the staff were brilliant at making suggestions, which all went down well. Prices are also extremely reasonable, especially for the big portion sizes. Also fortunate enough to listen to some brilliant live music. Will be going back for sure.
Great Food. The best Persian food in London by far!!! and the service is SPOT ON. Friendly staff and very nice environment. Me and my family visited SHIRAZ restaurant twice in the past 3 weeks and we very very pleased by what we got each time. Will definitely go back again and would recommend it to anyone. 5 stars from me
Incredible, incredible place! Chef is the nicest guy you'll meet and the authentic food is unbelievably delicious and tasty (on par with the nearly unmatchable cuisine of my grandmother)... I cannot find another Persian restaurant outside Iran comparable to this one. Must definitely try!
