Lovely cosy pub. A warm and friendly atmosphere with a roaring fire. Perfect for this time of year. We received great service and the food was amazing and beautifully cooked and presented. Starter and Main at the table and then Cookie dough for pudding by the fire. Highly recommend, thank you for a really lovely evening!
What a lovely pub! DELICIOUS food, really good pricing too. Service was lovely. Area looked really nice also (wish we had time to go on a walk) as it is in the countryside. Didn’t disappoint and will hopefully be back! thanks for having us.
We stopped here for lunch with family as we were passing through and we was very pleasantly surprised and surprised it wasn’t fully booked as the food here was insane. All our dinners whatever we had were amazing and the puddings were even better. Five stars staff amazing proper country pub and food.
Great pub and location. The food was pretty standard pub food and parts tasted like frozen rather than freshly made. Dog friendly which was good. Beautifully decorated
Great country pub, went for a roast and had the beef. The meat was well cooked and there were loads of veggies. Great horseradish! The whitebait to start was tasty too. But dessert was the showstopper - forced rubarb and custard bread and butter pudding. Honestly sensational, one of the best pub desserts I've EVER had.
