Nice little pub near the river. Close to the Mother Shipton area. Nice choice of ales and gin. Weekends wise to book for food. Nice rear garden and outside seating at front, friendly staff,relaxing and Quiet

Had the meat and cheese sharing platter with a nice pint of guiness.
Food nicely presented on wooden platter, lovely cheeses and meats with olives, bread and a lovely spiced tomato pickle

Nice little place this after a walk around the town. Good range of drinks . Food is available as well.

Well worth the walk from town to this pub set in a stunning location by the river and only a 12 minute river walk to the 🚂 station although there are 80-odd steps to climb along the way. 4 cask ales available along with a large wine selection plus hot beverages.

I have just seen a review I put on from 6 yr ago which was 1 star..just to say this was not intentional and unsure why this came up 1. The half moon is 5 star all the way and would recommend 100%!

Lovely pub - they know how to pour a great pint of Guinness. Their midweek pizza nights are superb too.

Excellent cosy pub with a log fire in the winter. Good drink selection, good food and friendly and efficient staff and service. Highly recommended.
