Roast was delicious. Good selection of veg and lovely roast potatoes. Asked for a glass of red wine and it was 250ml? Should offer 150ml as 250 ml was too much and very costly. Also due to impending refurbishment very little desert choice. Website says you offer mini desert with hot drink and you don't!
Lovely carvery as always and they let us bring our dog in the bar area! The lady who served us was sooo nice im sorry I didnt get your name but you gave our dog maddie some turkey and a big fuss! :)) fab x
It was so busy as lots of us had vouchers but all the staff were so patient and pleasant. The food was lovely and a generous helping, but not too much, meat. The voucher prompted us as we hadn't planned to go and easy booking to get a table at short notice although full later. I can't commend the team enough
Had a really lovely meal here with my two children. Not too busy as we went at lunch time mid-week. Food and service was lovely, though I'm not sure I would want to pay over £11 for 3 x lemonade again (it is refillable, but you'd be hard pressed to get value). The building itself needs some attention as it's lining very tired.
Have been several times before and were in the area and always had a great experience. Mash is lovely as is the vegetarian gravy so have lashings of each! Staff very friendly and accommodating, as always want a window table. Will be back soon.

Visited today food was great staff were fantastic mat the manager made you feel so welcome. I have a toby near me but will travel the extra 8 miles to here the food beats my local toby hands down everytime
Toby staff were brilliant especially the young lady who looked after us in the annexe. She was the most patient and attentive person we've come across in quite a while. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
The booking was for 3 hours, 4 - 7pm Saturday May 20th. We had great family get together, 16 strong, You made it for us! Memorable, well done and thank-you.
My friend and I were a little disappointed in the visual side of the carvery . It needed tidying up. However, the food itself was as tasty as ever and all the staff were lovely.

The food was excellent but the service was terrible. When we asked for a jug of water we were told to ask the waitress. She did not appear and when we tried to attract her attention at the next table we were ignored.Also the toilets left much to be desired. They looked as if they hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time.
