An absolute gem of a place! We enjoyed bubbles and butties here earlier in August after getting married in the morning in Crewe. The team were so excited to welcome us to the room which they had personally decorated with hand-picked flowers from the gardens. They were also on hand with umbrellas to usher us in and out as the rain threatened to dampen proceedings (no chance with the team at the Gardener's Cottage about!)

Tatton Park is local to us.We love visiting this beautiful NT gem.This time was extra special because of the current countrywide health circumstances.So lovely to relax in beautiful surroundings.
Was lucky enough to win afternoon tea here and it was great. The green tea butterfly cake was delicious. We sat in a nice room overlooking the garden. Pleasant staff and the manager was lovely.
Very Pleasant location and have been a few times. On this visit as all tables undercover outside were taken (it was a hot day) we decided to sit inside.
We chose scone, tea and coffee. When scone arrived it had been heated and was hot. ...microwaved from frozen? Tea and coffee OK but one cup on our table set for use was cracked. Prices seem to have increased considerably since our last visit in Autumn 2017.....hence 4 stars.
We've been several times, more pricey than main cafe, more traditional, selection of gluten free cakes. Gf Bread available with soup and maybe sandwiches (check). Quaint cottage great service.
Afternoon Tea was exquisite and the staff were lovely and helpful.
Really pretty little garden. Lovely cake and hot tea after a day of heavy rain. Perhaps a few more umbrellas outside for those of us with dogs please.

Little gem of a restaurant on Tatton grounds, serving a lovely homemade fare that ranges from simple soups through to tarts, cheese or meat platters, or venison or lamb from the Tatton stocks. Come later in the afternoon for high tea.
It's the converted former home of the head gardener so it has a delightful tucked away feeling of being in a private house, bordering onto Tatton's gardens.
Absolutely stunning ... a lovely place for a picnic and see the nature with a few animals. Access to the gardens... Farm ... And a historic Mansion
