We always have a good experience at Hooked! I often call by in the summer to collect numerous meals for the busy farmers we have at home harvesting. I called in again 2 weeks last Saturday and a lovely chap served me. Always tasty and hot!

Been buying our weekly treat of fish, chips and mushy peas, since Hooked first opened its doors. Tastes like no other!! Gorgeous!!🥰 Not the cheapest!! but portions , generous to say the least!! I've said for a few years now that we needed a good chippy, ( in every way) so here we have it!! Well done staff, you work hard to give us quality food. 😘x

Light crisp batter big meaty pieces of cod freshly cooked not soggy and very tasty
Chips excellent, mushy peas and curry sauce top grade only gripe could be a larger portion.
Came all the way from warrington on recommendation and want to go again tonight lol.
WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

We recently had Hooked cater for our wedding evening food. We ordered boxes of chips, fish and chips and sausage and chips alongside mushy peas, gravy and curry sauce. Everyone loved them, the fish went within the first 10 minutes and people were going back for seconds. The individual boxes were great too and it all looked lovely. Can't recommend enough.

Always ask for your fish to be boxed separately because if it is added to your chips the batter becomes soggy. Maybe now they do this? Chips could be better as they are always white in colour which to me means undercooked.

First visit, ordered in advance as we were passing through. Food was just being boxed up when I arrived so it was piping hot. We had fish ( light crispy batter) & chips and ham, chicken & leek pie. Chips are some of the best we’ve had. Would definitely call in again.

The best fish and chips that I have tasted in a long time. The cod was chunky and a generous portion. My partner had haddock was excellent. I used to own a fish and chips for many years and so I know when the quality is good and correctly fried. I can highly recommend Hooked on the Heath. That is way I gave have them 5 stars
