Popped into Hodgson’s Chippy and it didn’t disappoint! The chips were spot on — really tasty and perfectly cooked. We got chips for the whole family along with their super tasty curry, and everything was delicious. The shop was spotless too — you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Highly recommend!

Such a shame I can’t give 10 stars! I’m an infrequent visitor to Lancaster but had the chance today and made sure I was able to visit the famous Hodgson’s and they didn’t disappoint. Perfect flaky fish; superb chips and scraps to boot. Deserves all the praise and awards it gets.
