Muffin Break

Staff were excellent ( young ladies who worked 11.30 shift on 23/02/23), food was brilliant but manager was rude and cutleries very dirty. However, upon complaint to one of the staff she came to apologise in all fairness to her. But not a good way to speak to customers especially when you have oversight responsibility. Overall great experience, I will visit again. They also have a great space for kids to jump around while parent's enjoy their meal. Addendum: Adding the above details for context upon request from management. I had two trays of food. Took one to my family and when I returned to pick the second tray I informed the staff attending to me that I think I am missing a drink, the young lady politely said that the vanilla is in the process of being made and out of the blue the Manager very rudely asked me out of the shop that I am putting them under pressure. Quoting her verbatim she said: "please go go go go and we will bring the tray to you as you are putting us under alot of pressure". I was pleasantly surprised because there were only me and another customer with 4 staff attending to us; so in my head how am I pressuring you and your team. I calmly left but felt the need to express how I felt to the staff attending to me. Sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it. Her countenance and body language was very hostile and I could not but think that maybe its because I am a black male ( I might be wrong).

We tried this place today and we really wish we hadn't bothered!!! They were pushy and abrupt from the start, yelling at us to make our choice of drink before we ordered our food. Our 5-year old was quite scared tbf. The food was ok, warm not hot but it tasted nice. The drinks were totally wrong, we ended up with a warm milk and a hot chocolate (for said 5-year old) that was hotter than the sun 😕 We will NOT be going back and if you want friendly, good service you will give this place a miss. I only gave it 5x stars to make sure this gets posted. The only good point was the nice lady who was cleaning the tables, she was lovely and very friendly.
