Wow what an amazing restaurant ! It was busy, vibrant and a really good atmosphere. I really like the decor and loved the ceiling lights ... Nice touch.
The food itself was amazing... Tried a Chicken Chow Chow for the first time and asked for it to be hotter and add chillis to it which they did and I loved it. My work mate really liked his and the naan and the sides were all delicious too!
All round excellent service and a big shout out to our waiter Arman who was brilliant, full of energy, really confident and professional.
Safe to say next time I'm working in the area I will definitely be returning 💯

My hubby and I went there for our fourth anniversary, the food was amazing, we both ordered the most spicy curry and it was spicy, even for me who love spicy food, but in a nice way tho. We absolutely enjoyed the meal but we waited for so long to get our bikes paid even if we see employee walking around us all the time. And it also took ages to get the meal but I under it’s Friday night and it’s all freshly cooked, but it was long time. I would recommend for anyone who loves a good curry.

Had to wait until our table was free as even though we'd booked an early time the place was packed. They gave us a complimentary drink whilst we waited which was nice. When we did get in and eat, the food was plentiful and superb. Cracking atmosphere and service and another complimentary drink to finish. Had food left over so that was boxed up for us. Will go again

What an amazing restaurant with the most attentive team of staff!
Me and my family went last night to celebrate my birthday, we could not have been treated any better.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, the team went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time.
To top it off, the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the creamy chicken tikka masala!
Honestly can not recommend this fantastic restaurant enough.
Huge thank-you to the team for such a wonderful evening 👍❤️ 12/10!!!!

Came here for a work night. Food, service and atmosphere were all 5 star. It was packed, and staff were rushed off there feet, but they all kept calm and just got on with it. Staff are amazing, always going that extra mile to make the experience amazing. Definitely will be coming back. Prices are just as good. Top work 👍

After show dinner

We went her after a matinee show in town. I can honestly say that I was very impressed with the building layout, the food presentation, the taste of the food. All the staff where polite and professional. I will be going back next time I am in Leeds.

Exceptional

The service was absolutely exceptional, food was exquisite. I was recommended this restaurant by a relative who had used the take away service, myself and my partner went for our anniversary to eat in, from the moment we walked in we were made to feel so welcome, all the staff were really attentive and always had a smile on their dial. The food was flavoursome and generous portions. Would highly recommend....if I could give more stars I would

I only discovered Bengal Brasserie nearing the end of my time on the Hyde Park/Burley border. The student area, I find, really does lack many genuinely decent curry houses. Out of the dozens I can think of off the top of my head, only a handful really pleases and satisfies the curry craving.
The decor is very modern inside the restaurant, and instantly, you can see that it is very popular with both locals and students alike. The menu is wide, offering your standard curry favourites, as well as other 'specialities'. I opted for a special, and I was certainly not disappointed. The flavours were good.
There was just one thing that I and my boyfriend were not really sure of about the place. It certainly wasn't the lack of custom, nor the staff- who were very welcoming indeed. It may well have been the lack of complimentary popadoms at the start of the meal. It is slightly more expensive than your average curry (only just), particularly being so close to Hyde Park. Although the food is clearly made with more care and very tasty, my dish tasted very similar to my boyfriends, prompting the thought that they use the same sauce for everything. With that in mind, I would suggest that you go in a group, to disprove this theory, or to the buffet they serve up on Sunday night, to sample more of their flavours.

Quite simply, I've lived in Leeds for 10 years now and have not found a better Indian. The curries are consistently lovely whether you eat in or get a takeaway. And if you go and eat in, the staff are always very cheery and happy to help with anything. I've even been in a couple of times and they've offered us a free shot at the end of the meal - and not because anything was wrong - just because they're lovely! In fact after countless visits and takeaways I think the only time anything was wrong was that they got one order wrong when we were eating in on a really busy night and we'd ordered a good 12 or so meals. And even then they were very apologetic and sorted it very quickly. Love the Bengal!

Nice place, nice service, curry was a bit bland for me, not much depth of spices, it is the same price as a city centre curry house,

When I discovered this restaurant for the first time I could not believe I had overlooked it for so long! The staff are wonderful and the food is top notch, the best curry house I've found in Leeds. Its not a big place which leads to a really personal feel and the food is always brilliant. Whilst your bill might be a couple of quid higher than other curry houses in the area the quality is about 10 times higher and completely worth it! They also do takeaway which is just as yummy as eating in. 10 out of 10.

One of my favourite curry houses in Leeds - booking near essential as this place always seems to be busy. Casual atmosphere, staff are super nice and the curries are always spot on. Worth a phone order for take away too. Top stuff.

i was a regular there I stopped going because you order a lamb and they give you a mouton if you find they say sorry ,it was a mistake and they change it
if you don't notice everybody is happy . once you go there a bit often they start
asking a private questions witch is the main raison why i don't go there anymore
