Great Sunday lunch, Yorkshire puddings were fresh, good texture. The pub/restaurant is unassuming. The amuse bouche was this spicy creamy tomato soup. The porchetta was phenomenal. The french toast was the right size following the substantial roast. Nice pint also. Get yourself there.

We've been supporting local restaurants during lockdown by ordering takeaways but have to say every one has been a bit of a disappointment until today. The hungry bear has given us truly amazing high quality restaurant food in the comfort of our own home. Still looking forward to visiting as soon as we can but this has totally made our family celebration. All diets catered for including an awkward gluten free vegetarian, and more food than even my 6ft+ teenage sons could eat which is almost unheard of! Great value for money. Thank you so much!!

This place is so good, a local treasure for sure. The food is always just amazing, the service is quick and super friendly and it's just one of the best places I've ever eaten. Would always recommend!

Last minute phone call for Sunday dinner fully booked but can eat in pub round corner called The Terminus and we will bring it too you, go on then we'll give it a go and we were so happy we did. Pub is small but welcoming with lots of real ale on tap, pint bought sit and wait, sure enough half an hour or so in walks the chef with our dinners and boy was it great, £15 seems to be the benchmark for quality Sunday dinners these days and we have tried several in and around Leeds over the years and this place just joined the very best of them, quality food of which we enjoyed every mouthful, cheers 😊

The Hungry Bear was the place for lunch we visited with surprising good food. The only limitation was that it has only a small menu to choose. We ordered the Rainbow Trout and the Vegan Pitta. The food were simply delicious (see photos). I cannot express how good they were but we could always imagine :-)

Our second visit here didn't disappoint. Lovely meal and drinks. The cocktails were a highlight along with the rasberry macha tea cheesecake.

Some of the most impressive food we've eaten. Even the soup was exceptional. Absolute must go when visiting Leeds, wish there was somewhere closer to London!
