Miller & Carter Leeds Light

Visited Leeds to see my son for his birthday. Came to Miller & Carter for lunch. The staff were warm, friendly & very accommodating. Happy to explain the menu & make recommendations. We ordered from the lunch menu which is served Monday to Friday between 12pm - 5pm or Saturday 22pm to 3pm. Started with salt & pepper calamari with a garlic & lemon aioli dip. Followed by filet migon, served with onion loaf, balsamic tomato, seasoned fries, accompanied by a beef dripping sauce (recommend by our waiter). Including a couple of drinks the bill was just short of £60 which is reasonable for the standard of the food we were served. I’m not usually a lover of steak but as it was my son’s birthday I made the effort. It was a lovely meal, a relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable price. Very happy!

Warm welcome & cheery goodbye. Excellent service, very friendly & informative, nothing was too much trouble. We were looked after by Eva who was fantastic and really helped to make the experience a lovely one, but the staff on the front desk were also extremely friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely amazing! I had heard that the steak was the best in Yorkshire and we weren’t disappointed. The fillet steak in particular was outstanding. We had baked camembert to share then the butchers block, was lovely to be able to compare the different types of steak. Even the white zinfandel was the nicest I’ve tasted. Absolutely hands down the best staff and steak in Yorkshire!

Went for a meal with my partner was disappointed to see there was food under my chair when I was seated that's the only issue I had... The food definitely made up for it the best steaks I've had in years, the beef sauce definitely made the richest of the meal it was 100% worth the money. The service was outstanding by the gentleman named Gareth, beautiful explained the menu to my partner as she had no idea with it being her first time, was very clear and patient with our food order very pleased with the service. Will definitely be coming back again!

I went to Miller & Carter a few weeks ago to celebrate me and my partners 6 year anniversary together. Food and cocktails were lovely. That strawberry fling cocktail was so nice! , We were served by a lovely lady called Eva and she even brought a chocolate board over saying happy anniversary and we had glasses of Prosecco/ strawberry to celebrate. Thanks Again Eva! Overall, Lovely service, nothing to fault!

Not the first time I've been at a Miller & Carter, which is exactly why I opted to eat here when I visited Leeds with a couple friends. As expected, the food was amazing and service was really good, we got treated very well by the staff. This time I wanted to try the filet mignon, as it was one of the more expensive options they had, it was quite a surprise when I saw the lobster on top, as I didn't see that on the menu. The NY style cheesecake was delicious, perfect consistency and strong flavour that works perfectly to clean the palate after a meal like what we had. Would definitely recommend not just this, but any Miller & Carter around!

I had a fantastic lunch dining experience at this restaurant, and I want to give a special shoutout to our waiter, Bead. Bead provided excellent service throughout our meal, making us feel welcome and ensuring our needs were met. The food was also outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Thank you, Bead, and the entire team, for making our visit so enjoyable. I'll definitely be returning soon!

It was a last minute decision to pay a visit for late lunch. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy at 3pm which was brilliant. We were greeted by very friendly staff member who provided us with a very nice table. Our waiter was friendly, professional and attentive. The food was excellent - both starer and main course. Will definitely go back and would recommend to everyone for quality and great service.

15-09-23 The guy at the reception area had a very welcoming attitude. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, he gladly accommodated us and led us to our table. Once seated, he handed to us the menu and assured that we will be served shortly. Eva was our server and she patiently explained to us what was in the menu since it is our first time to try the restaurant. I really appreciated the surprise comp dessert prepared after our main course. My friend mentioned in the beginning that I was celebrating a special occasion which is our anniversary (LDR at the moment) but we did not expect for any dessert. As expected, the food was spectacular. Our overall dining experience was great. The ambience of the restaurant was really nice. This restaurant has a good team and I hope the management will maintain this.
