We were visiting Leeds for 4 days and stopped in for dinner. We've had drinks here before on previous visits but never food. It didn't disappoint. Nothing fancy, just pie and mash chased with gin and tonics. Decent selection of cask and draft beers. Friendly service and clean toilets.
I've always used this pub as an "post-drinks" place for the Northern Monk beer festivals -
Unassuming from the front of the pub, but
never a disappointment for the reasons I visit, always has a great selection of beers on cask and various keg beers on offer, great selection of craft beers - especially a very well kept stock of Belgian Lambics if you fancy sharing a bottle with some friends.
Staff are always welcoming and good for a chat when things are quiet.
I've been there until closing a few times, and I would say the staff are definitely very patient with the beer nerds like me hanging around!! So thanks for that guys!!
Good size beer garden out the back.
I can't comment on the food as I've never ordered

Lush pub food. Proper beer. Great atmosphere and music. One of my favourite places in Leeds. Fish n chips was huge. And the burger was too quality. Staff super friendly and helpful too. Big old recommend
