Accessed through a tiny portal (OK a ginnal) from the heaving broad pedestrian shopping precinct into a cool dark-in-a-nice-way cavern with outdoor seating. It's not pretty, it's essentially an alleyway, but calm and still outside. Good hand pulled ales (Taylors Landlord needs no introduction & White rat : pale and sharply hoppy)
Amazing as always, really good bar staff, everything is nice and clean, good music and vibes. Always have a good time in Pack Horse!
Stopped here for a beer with a colleague after a meeting. It was a friendly pub and the beer was good. I had a Timothy Taylor's Landlord and my colleague had a guest ale ( White Rat). It was quiet when we went in but it was still early (before 6 pm).
