Nicely cooked fish in crispy batter, not greasy at all. Chips were nice and fresh. I ordered a standard size and a smaller size (it’s called senior’s fish & chips). Portions were so big we couldn’t finish them! Scraps were an extra bonus, was still crispy after 5 hours. Had food poisoning from not-fully-cooked fish from another fish & chip shop in June so was a bit wary but I was very happy with theirs. Wanted to try them for the past 6 months after reading the Google reviews and reviews from neighbours in my area on a Facebook group, and they were right! Friendly staff. Car park available and no yellow line in front of the shop so you won’t have a problem with parking.

I am writing this review on the back of another review (Kev Armitages review) I was in the shop yesterday at the same time. Can I just say he was very rude . I also was on my break . They were very busy at the time.i use this fish shop all the time And I have never had a issue. If you want good fish and chips you need to learn to wait. Its not the owners Or the staffs fault. If you haven't time to wait on your break may be take a pack up. 0000 star for a customer. Nicols keep.doing what your doing.

I saw a post earlier this week about these guys winning ‘Best Fish and Chip in South Leeds 2022’. So whilst I was over that way yesterday I couldn’t help but swing by and grab some fish and chips. It’s very clear why they are have been crowed the winners of this award! The food was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be coming back the next time in the south leeds area :)
