Take away fish and chips only £8.30 and good sized portion. Today I ate in. Fish and chips regular size £12.95 with tea/coffee and one slice of buttered bread. The Fish and chips was tasty and the batter was crispy and not overdone. Tea came in two pots one with one tea bag which was too weak for two pots. I complained and brought me a replacement tea. Live piano music was a nice Christmas touch. 😃😃😃 Staff was pleasant and helpful
Faultless fish and chips served in the traditional Yorkshire way with a very nice cup of tea. No buttered white bread though - is this part of the tradition on its way out? The Whaler occupies the old Harry Ramsdens building at White Cross, Guiseley and oozes historic chippy charisma. Service was very pleasant and professional. One of the best!
