Went on a Saturday morning, staff are friendly and busy. Food is good. Many energetic kittens, cats, they are engaging, had such a great time there. Definitely recommend and will come back.
The café is in a very easy to access area on a well-kept, albeit busy street, granted I visited early Wednesday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although we were told that after checking in for our booked table the staff member that checked us in hadn't logged that we'd arrived; we ended up waiting half an hour for table service. To compensate for this, we were allowed to stay for as long as we liked (bookings are 1 hour each). Despite that, we had an excellent time. The atmosphere was brilliant. Very quaint and just moderately busy at the time. The cats weren't too intrusive of our meal and were very friendly. We had ordered some cheesecake. It was quite good though sickeningly sweet if eaten too fast. All in all, we had a wonderful visit and will probably go again.
I recently visited the Kitty Cafe, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. As an reviewer who values brevity, I'll get straight to the point – this place is a solid 5/5!
The atmosphere is wonderfully calming, with soft music playing in the background and a delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. The decor is tasteful and cat-themed, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
Now, let's talk about the stars of the show – the cats! They are well-cared for, playful, and clearly adored by the staff. It's heartwarming to see these furry friends enjoying themselves and interacting with visitors. You can spend hours here, sipping on your coffee or tea while petting and playing with the resident kitties.
Some of the standout cats I encountered during my visit were Jaffa, who was the first cat I saw, and they just chilled until I received my food, then they camped out underneath the table until I was finished. Patch was very chill but did try to sneakily nibble on my bag. Crinkle, although I only saw them at the end of my visit, was very cute and friendly.
Dexter, on the other hand, loved playing but being a cat, immediately tried to give my hand a playful nibble. While I did meet more cats, I don't particularly have a strong opinion of them, as they all had their unique personalities.
The menu is also offering a variety of delicious treats and beverages to satisfy your cravings. Whether you're a cat lover or simply looking for a unique cafe experience, Kitty Cafe is the place to be.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a relaxing time in the company of adorable cats and good food, look no further. Kitty Cafe gets a solid 5/5 – it's a purrfect paradise for feline lovers!
A German friend of mine, upon seeing my IGS of time spent here, expressed amusement. She said that I’ve found the most un-European thing to do in Europe. “You can take an Asian out of Asia, but not Asia out of an Asian!” But I digressed.
Frankly, I wasn’t expecting to visit a cat cafe this trip. But serendipity happened. This just popped up on my Google map, so we acquiesced.
There’s a mix of cats and kittens during my time there, and they got along pretty well! A staff told us that they were all strays and visitors can adopt any of them. I love that.
We ordered chicken nugs (there’s no need to, but we wanted) and when the dish arrived, it drew keen attention from a couple of greedy cats and kittens! We didn’t feed them (you’re not supposed to); we just basked in the temporal popularity.
Lovely setting for both humans and Cats. I ordered afternoon tea which was disappointing with squashed sandwiches crust on , no cucumber or salad of any kind, frozen mini eclairs , melting icing and 🍫, scones were crumbly with watery jam and pre packed clotted cream, underwhelming , slow service our food left on the wrong table and told the cats had touched the scones (replaced) I felt like our food had been passed around a little too much , quite off putting really but the cats were adorable, though one particular kitten was a little too keen to try the cakes 😺😺😺 overall a good experience though shame we hadn't had ordered a different choice on the menu.
Great visit.
Visited as a small social group with another home educating family. Brilliant topic starter trip. Ideal to lead in to animal care & science, nature topics.
Vibrant decor with lots of engaging play spaces for the cats.
The cats all looked well cared for. There is a £7 care fee charged to adults for admission. This goes towards the care and upkeep of the cats.
The food was surprisingly nice. Meal deal at £12.95 was good value and included a sandwich, cake and drink.
Took my 2 daughters . They loved it . Great experience . Food was Ok basic menu . But there changing menu in next day or 2 so maybe better . Loved it will be back to see the kitty's x
Lovely experience if you're a cat lover! Had coffee and cake here, saw they did other food, but it looked like wraps and pizza. Cakes were okay. I think the cats really make the experience. We were lucky to have them come over to use and one settle on the chair. Sometimes there are a lot of kids running around and it can get a bit loud.
A little bit of a steep entrance fee, but as this is going to the cats that are there, being rescued and cared for it didn't feel too bad.
Staff where really friendly and helpful and the cats tolerated us humans as best they could 😂

If you like cats then you will definitely love a visit to the Kitty Cafe. I've been here twice and had a lively, relaxing time withy friends and the kitties. The cafe provides toys so you can play with the cats and I was lucky enough to be there when the staff gave the kitties some treats and got to join in! (Just be careful as the kittens get a little too excited and may bite!) They have lots of different cats so you're bound to find a favourite while you're there! Very chill atmosphere and the food is lovely. Staff are kind and will not hesitate to talk to you about the kitties!
