I went on Tues for their six course gastro night. Food and service were amazing as always, and great value
Just had Xmas lunch in there today - fantastic rabbit starter, then steak, mmm lovely. Service good , but little slow.
My joint favourite restaurant in Leicester. Some great dishes, good ingredients and very well cooked. Lunch menu is great value. The pan fried bream fillet special, which I had today, is phenomenal. Lemon tart was spot on with just the right amount of raspberry sorbet to bring more excitement. Glad they also do the brilliant Ken Forrester Cabernet Savignon Stellenbosch by the glass, super. Service is generally friendly but speed noticeably slower once the restaurant became more than half full. More staff are needed!
The last guy must've been on a bad day, I recently went on a busy Saturday lunch & 3 of us had the 2 course Prix Fixe menu. Our favourite starters were tender & subtle carpaccio served with sweet fresh beetroot & Ramequin aux Champignons, a comforting baked gruyère garlicy mushroom goo. Out favourite mains were the rich & warming Bouef Braisé & my stunning artichoke ravioli in a creamy white wine sauce topped with peas & mint-something I'll definately cook at home. Service was friendly, relaxed (not slow) & helpful.
Had a few lovely meals recently. Most notably the soiree gastronomie menu on the 13/6. The food was so tasty and piping hot. Had a few different flavour combinations I haven't tried before. And £25 for 6 courses is an absolute bargain
Fantastic breakfast option which was tasty and great value. Vegetarian and vegans catered for. Food was a little slow to the table but this wasn't an issue for me. Service was also great.
I would not return for the coffee, but other reviews say better.
Nice restaurant, 5 stars for food, 3 for dessert (Paris-Brest) it has nothing to do with the receipe... 3.5 for cocktails. Good service.
I came here a while back to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it was an incredible experience! They were very friendly with us and had lovely food!
Absolutely amazing! Date night with partner, we both took Bistrot Pierre Menu with three courses and a drink. Food was stunning, our entrees dissapeared so quickly I didn't even shoot a photo, nothing lost though - we definitely gonna come here again! Calamari fried perfectly, toast with mushrooms creamy and lovely. Our steaks came also cooked perfectly to our liking! Chips hot and crispy, and light salad went really good together with steaks. Desserts lovely as well, creme brulee with crispy caramel on top and smoothest consistency. Worth its price for sure! Wine and beer were decent. We need to admit as well service was on the highest level, we had dedicated waitress which was really looking on our table, swapping dishes didn't took longer than 10 minutes on each case, she was polite, smiling and made us feel welcome. Can definitely recommend this place for a date or family celebration, we will visit this place again!
This food is delicious. And I want to eat more of it. Prices have gone up since lockdown but where hasn't? Wish they'd put more honey on the chorizos, but good gosh darn those chorizos are tasty will be back working my way through the rest of the menu.
Randomly decided to have lunch here. Previously, always walk by and never thought of twice to stop for a meal. Glad we stopped and they had a table available. Love the interior decor. Option on nice big window seating or you can site further in away from the natural light for a more cozier atmosphere. Waiting service is excellent no issues and friendly. A few dietery and gluten free options available which always a plus. Prices are great and the food was very tasty and perfectly seasoned for my taste buds. Manager was very polite and personable. For a traditional French and English meal and good service with out spending too much I would highly recommend. Will visit again to try out more of their cruises.
First time going to Bistrot Pierre with my friends, had a lovely time.
Had the set menu pierre £22.95 for 3 course.
Calamari
Boeuf Bourguignon
Chocolate brownie.
Absolutely enjoyed the food, super tasty, served hot, good portion size.
Would totally recommend and will be visiting again for sure. Would have given 5 star but it took a while for someone to attend to us when we arrived.
Walking past last night and called in for a table for 4. From the first welcome to the last goodbye I cannot say a bad word. The service was amazing from each member of staff warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was gorgeous and served quickly and hot and the steak cooked exactly as requested. Cannot say how lovely our experience was only gutted you are expanding down south and not up north to Manchester
Nice French style restaurant in Leicester city centre.
Ideal for couples and friends.
Has a 2-3 course menu with fixed price until 6 pm.
It has really good decoration and illumination.
It's better to book a table on weekends.
Has special selection of products for Valentine's Day.
Medium price.
Most of starters and main have meat but there are vegetarian options too.
