Sunday lunch, mackerel pate served with thin toast. The duck pate was also ordered again served with thin toast. Both pates had lovely taste although we found the bread a little to the salty side. Roast beef was excellent beautifully cooked with all the trimmings. The Curzon stack was also enjoyed. All washed down with couple of pints. Three meals £90 including drink. Definitely recommended
A brilliant little country pub located in Woodhouse Eaves.
The Curzon Arms is the definition of a pub you want to go to after a long dog walk or exhausting day at work.
The food is well cooked and prepared, service was probably the best i’ve ever experienced in a long time and the atmosphere has that country pub vibe but also manages to pull off being a good restaurant as well.
It’s rare to see pubs do both good food and good drink and service but Curzon seems to nail it.
Highly recommended.
Lovely cosy pub, Sunday lunch was superb, good portion sizes and meat cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and attentive. Decor was lovely and seating comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it, charming place.
This place is nice and is well known as a good place to eat. The atmosphere is nice - there was a log burner, decor was nice, etc. Good selection of beers and a big cocktail menu for those who aren't driving home! The food was good but not excellent, and the service left something to be desired - apparently they were having delays in the kitchen but it seemed like the waiting staff were keeping away too! Still, I'd go back again to see if the second visit is better than the first.
The restaurant side was cozy and we received really good service despite turning up really early into evening service.
I had the Brisket burger. It was Juicy and plenty of flavour, and the bun didn't go soggy part way through.
Really happy.
What a Gem we found near Beacon hill park amazing character pub with top quality delicious food
Constructive advice service needed polishing up
But will come back again 💯🥂♥️
Lovely village pub. Nice menu, the Sunday roasts are well presented and great value for money. Nice selection of starters and deserts. Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Will visit again
A random choice of pub to have lunch half way between North London and Manchester to meet old friends after a country walk. Excellent menu that offers a choice for all tastes. A fine selection of real and not so real ales, good atmosphere, great outdoor area and dog friendly. But most outstanding of all were the friendly and welcoming staff. Thanks. It capped a great day out.
It’s basically worth dropping everything and visiting the Curzon Arms to order the Sticky Toffee Pudding - it’s seriously delicious!
We ate here Christmas Eve and the staff were busy, but polite, friendly and efficient. The food was served quickly and was great.
Only slight complaint was due to the time of year, the venue was understandably very busy which made the place noisy and it got quite hot / stuffy and uncomfortable - but that’s not really something that can be helped given the circumstances.
We sat in one of the igloo tonight. Meal was presented very nicely and food was very hot. Staff regularly checked that we were happy. Cost very reasonable. Took a little while to pay but that's expected on Friday night. Would definitely come again.
