Food always great and lovely friendly staff. Can't think of a nicer place to go for a cappuccino and have to recommend the Mexican Chilli Cheese with anything.
Amazing deserts and real Greek coffee! I asked for Belgian waffles to be served with banana, Nutella and strawberry and this was the nicest topping I've ever tried! Definitely recommend this place!
Good food, friendly staff. I've eaten at Cafe Mbriki many times and have always enjoyed my meal. The staff are friendly and prompt and there's a really nice welcoming atmosphere.
I can't agree less with J's recent review as I've only ever drop in at lunchtimes and always find good seat . And incidentally, they do provide newspapers for customers.
I hang out with some friends there. It was a cute little place, relaxing, quiet, with a few customers working on their laptops.
We only tried sweet dishes and drinks. No issue with any of them. All were good. In summary, it’s another nice coffee shop in the area
Very nice vegan cakes. Menu is varied but could use more plant-based breakfast options beyond the usual beans, sausage and toast.
Visited just before Christmas and have remembered the cafe being open for years (or as long as I can remember) and service has always been excellent. The staff on shift were so lovely and helpful, brought our food and drinks over to the table in good time and atmosphere is lovely, everyone tends to keep to themselves but makes it nice for being able to have a catchup without everyone hearing your conversations. Gets full really quickly and it's no surprise - priced very reasonably and food is of good quality. No time limit on how long you can stay for either.
What a fantastic gem of a cafe! Defo worth a visit if in Leicester. A huge and very tasty menu, especially if it’s around Christmas for the festive additions! The Black Forest hot chocolate is to die for!!!
I called in while visiting Leicester to eat one of the delicious Vegan Cakery cakes that they stock (I knew about it via VC social media posts). The cafe is cosy and welcoming with a nice clean loo. Its location is extremely handy for visiting the interesting old part of town (Guildhall, Richard III Visitor Centre etc).
While I was in there I must have dropped my purse. I only noticed after an hour or so of sightseeing, but when I went back in a panic I was immediately handed the purse complete with all the contents. So five stars for kind and honest staff and (probably!) customers too! I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Leicester.
This place was great. One of the best ploughman's I've had. Delicious food and really nice cafe.
Had the English and Greek breakfast. Good overall but would have been happier with a slightly bigger portion! They added an avocado for me which I really appreciated.
Reliable spot for lunch in city. Good range of menu options, efficient service, decent prices. Recommended.
NB: they occasionally run out of jacket potatoes.
