Handmade Burger Co. Leicester

It's a bit boring inside, staff constantly coming over, food is good and fresh but I don't want to tell 3 different waiting staff in 10 minutes that it's good, and the staff member who showed us to the table and said she would be serving us today, didn't come back to us at all not even to take our order, but did serve the table behind us! Service was fast and so was bringing the bill within 5 minutes of us finishing

It's rare to see a Handmade burger nowadays as a lot of them have been closed down which is a shame. The burger was absolutely awesome. Don't expect to get chips with the burger as they are extra but it isn't exactly expensive. A portion of chips is huge so you won't walk away wanting more food. I really enjoyed my meal and our server was really nice and super helpful. It's clean, reasonably priced, not too formal. Would recommend it for people who want a casual meal with friends or even a casual date night.

Burger patty was large and well cooked. The options were pretty good. We liked our toppings. The burger did fall apart and we went in with a knife and fork. We split a side of chips, which were mostly good. Some small crispy bits. Cocktails were not inspiring, so we skipped. It was a nice place. The table service was good but at a place like this, I wasn't sure if I should tip. Wish that was more clear. I'd go back.

I had a 3-day stay in Leicester and Handmade Burger Co definitely served the best meal I had while in the city. Compared to the other restaurants in the area they're reasonably priced and customer service is good. I didn't have to wait at all to get a table or be served. Loads to choose from on the menu as well.

Fresh made burgers & fries, with the nice option to customise However you want. Fries are fresh, with good texture & thick(er) cut. Menu starts of with a good variety of combinations. I had the peanut butter & Bacon chicken burger with sweet chilli Jam, & Denver (pulled pork, hbc/chipotle sauce) fried. Cheese on fries is processed/easy melt, but much better than other places. Bacon is smoke flavoured (slightly overpowering), peanut butter was in sauce form but still had a good pb taste. The chipotle sauce is also nicely flavoured with a mild spice level. All in a good meal & definitely worth return visits to try different combinations.
